Could this be a possible entry vehicle for Special Forces around the world. They could get to a certain LZ with no sweat and the enemy would be stunned to see such a machine. More effective then parachutes you can stand a better chance again AA fire and you could fly from a zone into safety if the landing zone is to hot. Comment Back.

yes but it could be bought by the military to be used by special forces. It would kick buttocks. This guy would probably do anything to make a fortune off this, and i bet blackwater will be knocking at his door soon.

he owns the patent and has clearly stated he won`t sell it to any military - blackwater or otherwise , and since he lives in switzerland - they won`t be knocking on his door - since most swiss men are armed with assault rifles

so who gives a care, americans can kick ass if they want to. Especially blackwater with its ex navy SEAL and 1st SFOD-D members, plus other countries as well such as the British SAS, Germany's GSG9 and other powerful associations. PLus on top of it, he probably has partners that helped develop the thing as well and whoever saw the movie could put together a pretty good idea how it works. It only takes a genius to tell u what parts you need to get at. He didnt do it himself, i can tell you that. Furthermore, anyone could be bought out if the price is right. Then what would happen when he dies, the train of thought has changed, and the need for it will arise. I bet he did make it with some government help, since he was an ex-air force member. I know its overkill, but pretty soon SAS members will be zooming around the world on a better platform to fight the OpFor with.

The care as you put it OP is as Harlequin explained, the title of the thread you have chosen is misleading and innacurate. The "Swiss Airforce" has had absolutely nothing to do with this project whatsoever and should not have been mentioned in the thread title. If you had chosen the more accurate title (as shown in the first line of your initial post) "Swiss man develops rocket propelled jet wing", then there would be no problem, may I suggest you alter the title to reflect this. The idea you have postulated though is sound enough, provided that the noise footprint can be kept down this would potentially make an excellent infiltration tool for Special Forces use.
