2003 UFO Photo During US Ousting Of Saddam Statue

I just found this photo at: www.iwasabducted.com...

taken in 2003 when the Saddam statue was being pulled down by US forces. There is apparently a UFO in the background. Just wondering what everyone thinks??

welll, I think it looks like a bird.

Looks like one of the ever popular "rods" that are insects and birds. Could be a shoe given the information on the page, but I suspect its an insect if anything. Its too anomalous and without true form to discern much anyway. A black blob is just a black blob, not a flying saucer.

It's too close to be a UFO.

I just think that it is something being thrown- nothing more.

yea, that definatly looks like something being thrown. Never heard of that before, but to me, it doesn't look like a UFO. The closeness also makes it less convincing.

Someone just needs to find the video of saddams statue getting toppled then you will know if its a shoe or not.

Looks like a piece of falling metal to me. Or with it's trajectory maybe it's a missle about to hit that building.

I'm guessing it's probably just a part of the statue falling.

Possibly if they exist but wasn't there at least one site or more which showed how rods are actually fake and done through photographic trickery and flying locusts??

Well if thats a shoe its a pretty big shoe because if you can see by the size that it isnt a shoe people come on.. as said my best guess is the flock of birds or a piece of object comming off the statue.

To call that a UFO seems to be grasping at straws. There is a huge statue weighing tons - probably - being broken off at it's base. It's obviously something falling to the ground as the base of the statue breaks apart.

I would have to say that it is some sort of coalition weaponry projectile, like a missle. Second, I would say it is a piece of the statue.
