William hill bookies and alien life announcement

I thought this was an amusing, yet mildly interesting part of the UK's recent increased interest in UFO/ET situation.

William Hill bookies have reduced the odds that Intelligent Alien life will be discovered before the end of the year, from 500/1 to 100/1. They are also taking bets on the location and what Gordon Browns first words will be. I dont know about anybody else but 100/1 seems pretty low odds considering the bet I would think it more likely be at 100000/1 if not more.

Seems to me, if the bookies are being cautious we may be in for an interesting close to 2008, maybe they know something we dont, I may have to have a bit of a wager

If a UFO landed outside Number 10 and Gordon Brown greeted ET he would be likely to say You are in a congestion charge zone and how much did you pay for your fuel bill. Alternatively he could say i will do my outmost to sort out the problem of illegal ailens !!!!


Good news though that William Hill have shortend the odds of First Contact taking place. It is getting to be quite an eventual year !!!

Sounds smart to me. Lower the odds, so more bet, then when it doesn't happen, you made some more money... Damn clever actually....though I'd recommend saving your money.
