I saw something similar to this in Redcar, Cleveland UK, in remote countryside area were I live. It moved then it stopped, when i was watching it and stayed their for a while.
I was trying to get a photo of it but it dint come up on my mobile i am always looking up at the sky though.
I am wondering if anyone knows were i can get the declassified information document that it mentions in this bbc report?.

to be honest, i doubt it would be hard... if i had some sort of camera i could just go focus it on venus, shake it about like you said to get a street light in the pic for a few frames and whallah!

i dont think this vid is in this categotry though... its not that bad, not as bad as alot ive seen (i know exactly what ya mean on video quality though)

this vid is actualy a good vid, just of something explainable (im shocked its at page 6 tbh!)

what i would say to you is to get yer phone cam, and go and try and film one star, an easy one like betelgeuce (top left of orion) and try and hold it in frame for a minute .... its not something ive tried but i know from experience that trying to film something small at a big distance, even with a really good cam , is very difficult! (like high jets whch are producing trails ect ... their very hard to keep in shot as a shake even 1mm to any way takes it completly out of shot)

holding it in frame is difficult, i'll agree.

But bobbing up & down violently like you're having a seizure is just ludicrous.

I agree, you can tell if somone is putting it on and someone who is trying to keep it still, i don't find it that hard to hold a camrea still

Hey cool find, starred and flagged, even though the footage is not great, i believe this guy, he seems genuine.

The reporter said they've put it down to a weather phenomenon?!

Nice to see more and more footage coming out, that the media seems happy to report, has 2008 already been a bumper year for UFO's? and we 're not even half way yet.

Yes, everytime I see a UFO story on the TV I start thinking to Darknights thread. Seems like these kind of stories are becoming much more common, even on mainstream TV.

I'm not sure how that video can be a weather phenomenon though!!

Because all the sheeple will believe anything you tell them....yes it was the weather, of course it was, especially will all the snow we've been having hahahahaha
