Sarkozy farewell ceremony cut as policeman commits suicide

www.jpost.com

A border policeman committed suicide Tuesday afternoon in the middle of a farewell ceremony in honor of French President Nicolas Sarkozy at Ben Gurion International Airport.

A Magen David Adom paramedic crew unsuccessfully attempted to revive the policeman, who sustained severe injuries from the bullet.

Police spokesman Shlomi Sagi confirmed that the border policeman committed suicide just as Sarkozy was about to board his plane.

What the hell? This is strange.

The police is already denying any assassination attempts.

Another police spokesman, Micky Rosenfeld, denied reports that there had been an assassination attempt on the French leader.

A statement from the Prime Minister's Office said that the circumstances of the incident were under investigation.

I'm not saying there's any conspiracy here, this was probably just a troubled person, nonetheless, very strange and intriguing.

More information from another article:

An Israeli police officer fatally shot himself Tuesday at an airport departure ceremony for French President Nicolas Sarkozy, sparking fear of an assassination attempt and prompting bodyguards to whisk away Sarkozy and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, officials said.

Dark-suited men quickly ushered Sarkozy and his wife up the stairs of their plane. At the same time, security guards with guns drawn rushed Olmert and Israeli President Shimon Peres toward their cars.[...]

Police spokesman Shlomi Sagi confirmed that a policeman guarding the airport committed suicide just as Sarkozy was about to board his plane.

Officials said he shot himself in the head.

assassination attempt.

Going to be interesting to see what this rolls along with. Cheers for posting this, very interesting.

#N.B# The sniper probably didn't figure in Sarkovsky being so damn short... and missed and the por guard copped it. Thats IF it was an assassination attempt.

he is after all a suspected mossad agent.

Not necessarily a troubled person per se.

Perhaps a mind-controlled individual?

Perhaps he knows about the planned attack on Iran and what is coming to Israel and this was his response...

This is what happens when the Human Conscience realizes that the brain has been programmed with an "Alternate" - it realizes the intent and does what it can to stop the programmed action from occurring.

It is good to see that the human will is so strong, even in the face of such massive psychological reprogramming.

I didn't think of that, thanks for that perspective.

Yes, Dan Tanna I heard those allegations as well. Here's a thread about that.

he could have been blackmailed into an attempted assassination but not wanting to go through with it, decided to take his own life instead. possibly he has family that were threatened (no-one would touch them now).

question is, if it was an assassination attempt, which one was the target?

fully suspect that a government agent would commit suicide like that bordering on rediculous. Sounds like assassination attempt, maybe coinciding with isreal / hamas cease fire. Or false flag to reignite tensions? More to this methinks.

Whats likelihood of airport guard committing suicide?

While at work with own gun?

At sametime heads of state going past?

I do not think it was assassination attempt. Sniper has to be very ..disabled.. to shoot a person in green uniform 200 meters away from real targets in dark suits.
It was a weird event though.
Here is a you tube link. Sorry ,in Hebrew.

I agree with you. The main stream story just sounds fishy. Who commits suicide in this type of setting. Nope I don't by it not one bit. I'm gonna go look up statistics on suicide, and I doubt shoting ones self while at work in a crowded area are not gonna to be high at all.

no im not michael savage (whoever he is). it just seemed to me to be the most likely scenario to have happened. it would make more sense than some other theories, but then again, people do the unexpected also.

ahahaha committed suicide using a high powered scoped rifle!?

and they pay people to come up with these lies! seriously, give me that job and i'll come up with an at least half-believable story!

calling it an 'accident' might be slightly more plausible, but still the guy is a trained marksman, what did he do, try to put his rifle in his pocket forgetting to put the safety on?

what a joke...

Strange strange this is.

In my short life, i have never experienced or seen anything like this.

Something is not sitting right in this story.

The Man, a Druze, was armed with a Scoped M-16.

His family is saying that HE would have never commited suicide, and EVERYTHING ive heard is that the Druze, as a people, are very honor based, and a suicide would bring MUCH dishonor to a family.

This Druze society would kill thier own children for honor, but NEVER kill themselves, thats what i have 'learned'...

And to the person who didn't know who Michael Savage is, he is a Natinal Talk Radio personality, based out of San Fransisco, and on the air from 3-6pm on the west coast. He is totaly ignored by the mainstream media, even though his radio program literly has millions of listeners per hour.

Here for more info.

Well how is this for interesting?

I read in the paper today that the security guard who committed suicide was stationed on an airport roof, shot himself and then fell 100 metres off the roof onto the ground.

That was in the print version of the newspaper but when I looked online I can find no mention about these details anywhere. Totally suspicious! If anyone finds this info online, post a link here please.

Correction, the man was approximately 100 metres from the plane, not 100 metres up from the ground.

Here is the actual quote:

Witnesses said the man fell from a roof after shooting himself. He was at least 100 metres from Mr Sarkozy's plane.
