U2U has been down for over 15 hours!!!

I am aware this has been discussed already yesterday and today,but the u2u system is still down,at least for me.................and I know I had a new one before the 'crash' or maintenance.Just asking what I'm sure all other membrs are wondering-When will u2u be restored??!!

Its a word that seems not to have much credence in todays instant world, but fixing things takes time.

SO has said he would try and have things fixed and working today.

As its only 6am on the Eastern seaboard of the US as I'm writing this, he's probably still asleep at the moment.

I too have no clue what's going on or how long this will take. All I can do is agree that it takes as long as it takes.

But, while everyone frets about lost "contact", consider what things would be like without cell phones! Well, there may be just that, if the problem discussed in my thread turns out to be valid, as suggested by some prestigious organizations.

Life without being hassled.
I remember once upon a time when you could avoid people by heading off into the wild and staying away from phones..
Now people complain "I tried calling your mobile but it was off/you wouldn't answer"
