China increases military!!

The Chinese military just increased its military budget by 11%. Although its still small compared to our $480billion budget. It will defenetly inpact the asians nations. Tiwan is holding its elections on March 20th. And China had openly threatened Tiwan with military force should they try to declare their indapendance.What do you all think about this? Should we help Tiwan even with this new development?
