Saudi Arabia - Work possibility

I have been wondering about the work situation in Saudi Arabia. I thought what better place to ask questions than ATS/BTS!!

So, my question is born from a possibility that i may have the opportunity to work in Saudi Arabia.

Has anyone worked there in the last year or so and if so, what is the situation there? Is it safe? I am planning on taking my family with me as I plan on being there for 2 - 3 years! And the reason? Living costs!! I will earn between US$9k and US$9.5K per month tax free!! I want to settle my mortgage and after that period decide where to from there as my daughter will be close to going to school and she will be around 5y/o.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Don't know much, but I do know Dubai is a great place to live! I know it's not in saudia arabia, sorry I'm not much help haha.
