Got Guano ? Ebay does & more...

It does an old Hippy good, to see technology being used for good purposes. Just last week, I searched for organic fertilizers on Ebay. Pow, up popped Bat Guano, Seabird Guano, Worm Castings, Rabbit Manure, Sheep Manure, even Llama Manure. No fossil fuels burned to make these. No nasty chemicals to process or industrial waste hidden within. So, for all those out there who grow organically.. check it out. Buy some manure, not miracle grow.

Yep, natural fertilizers rock.

But how much fossil fuel will be burned up shipping it to you, when you buy it on Ebay?

Well, by purchasing it on Ebay. I would not have to fire up my 4000 pound Ford Truck ( a major fossil fuel user ) and drive to a Lowes or Home Depot. So, there is some fuel saved. Next I would tell the seller, to merely drop off my package on a routine trip to pay a bill or pick up milk, so as to avoid a unneccessary extra trip. So, there is some more fuel saved. Lastly, I would tell them to send it Parcel Post. That way, it would be on a fully loaded US Postal Service Flight; slower than express mail, but again, with some fuel savings. Every little bit helps...Right
