Four Western oil companies are in the final stages of negotiations this month on contracts that will return them to Iraq, 36 years after losing their oil concession to nationalization as Saddam Hussein rose to power.


I just ran across this Time’s article this morning. Don’t know if anyone else has seen this yet. Years after we first went to war, we are now seeing the fruition of why we exactly went there.
