nationalize the infrastructure

if the infrastructure were to be nationalized, would it be a good thing?
right now it seems to be anything to make the shareholders happy at the expense of the consumers. they use tax to fix and build the infrastructure in the first place.

when a reporter speaks to a BT representive on broadband and asks about costs.
