The is ample evidence that Obama is a Socialist and very little that he is a Muslim (attended a Kindergarten).

Suppose the claims of this post were true. If he tried to declare Sharia Law, there is a high likelihood that there would be a repeat of Lexington and Concord.

The greater likelihood is that he would act as a Socialist and tax us to death, ruin our economy making us green, and ruin health care by making it "universal". Unfortunately, I don't believe that would be opposed.

I'd rather he were just a Muslim than a Socialist.

Bush and McCain are both Republicans who follow the same agenda. Carrying on the same policies is a likelihood, hence why Bush endorsed McCain.

Claiming that Obama is a "racist muslim" has no basis in fact. He's not a muslim for a start, and I've seen no indications whatsoever that he's racist at all. So making those claims is just a plain and simple smear, for the sake of it.

Obama is racist and Muslim. He attended a racist anti-American church for 20 years. You being from England probably don't care about that though.

Obama recites Muslim passages in Arabic, states is most beautiful sounds at Sunset when singing to Allah etc.

His whole family from Kenya are Muslim and Obama has friends that are Muslim Millionaires. Pastor Wright was formly a Muslim (and most likely still is).

Obviously you are either unaware or simply don't care that this has all been refuted, more than once. I thought you would have researched your constitution which does not prevent anyone of any faith from being president. As such its a non-issue anyway.

As for the "racist" thing, you need to provide proof, direct out of the mans mouth himself, that he is racist. Anything else is circumstatial and hearsay is it not? The acid test is if you could prove that in a court of law, and to be honest you couldn't, could you?

For instance, I post on ATS everday, and the board has several members who have less than savoury views on racial issues. I work in an office where some people have less than savoury views on racial issues. Neither makes me a racist.

Oh bull................I've conversed with Mr. Obama and he is nice, intellegent and has some ethics.

You folks smearing him are the same folks that probably voted for George Jr. and are the very ones that got us huge tax cuts for the super rich, 9 trillion dollar deficit, dollar worth 50% less, housing crisis, banking crisis, credit crisis, energy crisis, Iraq War costing us billions a week, inflation rising, unemployment rising, declining stock market, food crisis, rape of the environment, global warming.

Obama has a very open site obama.senate.gov... where you can see exactly where he stands on all the major issues and whats more he doesn't lie like George Bush did / does.

As if the popularity of religion in America was not evidence enough that we humans are an irrational bunch, a recent MSNBC poll reveals that 13% of Americans are convinced that Barack Obama is a Muslim. Never mind repeated statements from the candidate and members of the news media not affiliated with Fox "News," some people are going to believe what they want without the slightest regard for the truth. They want him to be a Muslim, so he's a Muslim. End of story.

Personally, I would be no less likely to vote for Obama if he was in fact a Muslim than I am now. I have absolutely no reason to believe that Christianity is any better (or worse) than Islam. They are equivalently absurd.

Obama is a Christian, and I have a hard enough time with the idea of electing someone to office who is willing to abandon reason and embrace faith. It is not that such an individual would necessarily be a bad leader; it is just that I want to make sure the individual can operate as a member of the reality-based community during the course of leading the country. If he or she wants to indulge in religious delusion in private, so be it.

I support Barack Obama not because he is a Christian but in spite of it. I would like to see him become the next American president, and I sincerely hope that he will be able to do so without abandoning the secular principles that make America great.

Greetings....Your response was measured and disciplined and as a result you have prevailed in the arena of discourse....The issue of Obamas'faith is irelevent,however,the issue of his experience in conjunction with the credentials of a large majority of his STEALTH supporters represent a threat to the American way of life....If the American people remain as lazy and selfish as they have demonstrated so many times,with respect to the electoral process...This candidate could win the election and would have been put there by 25+ percent of the people who have a right to vote....

Greetings .....Makes sense that the Sharia Law question is somewhat of a reach....If this guy wins the election is one issue,however,if he looses the election my feeling is he and his supporters are not going to accept defeat gracefully,and President McCain may well have to declare martial law to quell the anomosity...
