All nice computers. Now if only this thread had been started a week ago, you could all have seen the mess that was my University accommodation. But now I'm home and can't be messy.

What's with the picture frame without a picture in it? Did you take the pic out for privacy reasons? If so, why not just move the frame off the desk for a moment?

Just found that odd, but not as odd as the other picture that had a blow torch on the floor!

I'm a fairly serious gamer so my system has to be pretty crazy:

See the fullsize un-cutoff version HERE

AMD X2 6000+ Dualcore processor
2gb ram
8800gtx graphics
Logitech G5 Mouse
Logitech G11 Keyboard
Logitech X-540 speakers
Acer 22" Widescreen LCD
Thermaltake Soprano Case

Yes, my game collection is retardedly large.

Closet to wet bar to computer work station.

Several research books and other stuff on the added shelves.

Directly opposite, three large bookcases, floor to ceiling.
Mostly full of tech books, a couple shelves of novels and history books.

One of the big book cases are Sweeties and the other two are mine . . . as is the computer area.

I've never heard the X530s at work so I don't know how much of a difference they make. These babies are pretty crazy sound for around $100 though.

COD4 explosions make the whole table vibrate

haha, CoD4 is a great game.
The sub must be a little more effective and maybe the drivers as well.

Love the bookcases
Very very nice...what's with the towel on the computer chair though? Are you sitting there dripping wet out of the pool? Or are you um...nekid when you sit there??

Nahh.
The photo was taken during a summer heat wave.
The chair upholstery is kinda scratchy since I wear - acceptable for mixed company - shorts and a T-shirt in the summer as well as go barefoot.

Take a look under the desk.
An inexpensive plastic step stool used as a footstool which adds to the comfort bit.

I do woodwork now and then.
The bookcase is made from oak that matches the desk proper.

The shelf the printer is on is an added piece and the hanging shelf under the nooks and door on the right side is also an add-on.
Easy project and it is a nice addition.

The photo above is from our Central California house.
Here in Sunny Arizona - 102 today - the computer and desk are in a corner with a window on the right and you can watch the sunrise over the mountains to the east.
I have a file cabinet to the right and pretty much everything I need is quite handy.

I don't mean to get up that early this time of year, but the three doxies and wanna-bee chihuahua roll me out when the eastern sky turns from black to dark gray.
