Breaking: Big prison break in Afghanistan

apparently there is a big prison break in Afghanistan. i received an email from citizens for ligitimate government, 13 Jun 2008 Details forthcoming on www.legitgov.org...

A state of emergency has been declared in Kandahar as troops and police conduct a street by street search for escapees.

The jail break happened after Taliban militants blew open the main gate of Kandahar jail with a suicide car bomb.

There may have been key Taliban leaders that that were deemed important enough to warrant a jail break . Really keeping Taliban prisoners so close to the battlefield is nuts . They should be kept under lock and key overseas . The Afghan Police should also be trained overseas where possible. This would allow them to undergo more intensive training away from enemy activity .
