Hundreds of fuel tanker drivers are to go on strike tomorrow after last-ditch talks to resolve a dispute over pay broke down.

The drivers, who deliver fuel to Shell petrol stations across the UK, will now go ahead with the walk-out from 6am.
Fears of petrol shortages have been sparked by the move, despite efforts from the Prime Minister to reassure the public that pumps would not run dry.
A spokesman for Shell, which was not involved in the pay negotiations, said that "regrettably" the planned action would gave a "significant impact" on its petrol stations.
Meanwhile the assistant general secretary of Unite said he expected Shell garages would start to run out of petrol "almost immediately".
