I was watching Nova tonight about one of the greatest scientists ever Isaac Newton. I was startled to see that he had made a prediction that the world would come to an end in 2060.

This got me to thinking about just how he came to that conclusion, and about how my date for the end of the world based in part on known clues and on mathematics was at least somewhat close to his date.

My theory which is based on some startling coincidences, if that is the right word, is very sound at least from my perspective, and I would welcome any discussion either for or against, since open debate often leads to the truth.

To start let me give a short background, I was raised to believe in a powerful loving God who is in control of not only this world, but also of the other dimension(s) that have been postulated by some brilliant scientific minds.

During the course of my life I have been blessed to witness His awesome supernatural power firsthand along with another witness who can corroborate the particular story of Divine intervention in my life.

But that is a story for another day, and now let me come back to the subject at hand, namely what is my best guess using some well known clues as to when the world could come to an end.

I came up with this theory while considering one of the most important known clues as stated in the Bible by Jesus who is the Son of God.

When Jesus was with His apostles during His Olivet discourse he not only predicted the coming destruction of the Jewish temple, but also described how it would be in the last days. In order to understand exactly how important this chapter is concerning my theory, I have reproduced it exactly as written in the 1611 KJV Bible...

[1] And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
[2] And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
[3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
[4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
[5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
[6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.
[9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
[10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
[11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
[12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
[15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand

[16] Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
[17] Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
[18] Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
[19] And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
[20] But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

[22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
[23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
[25] Behold, I have told you before.
[26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
[27] For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
[28] For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
[31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
[32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
[33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
[34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
[35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
[36] But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
[37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
[39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
[40] Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
[41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
[42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
[43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
[44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
[45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
[46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
[47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
[48] But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
[49] And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
[50] The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
[51] And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Now after reading the chapter please take note of the most important clue as to exactly when the world would end as spoken by Jesus...32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
[33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
[34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Now I ask you to indulge me here, the fig tree is probably an allegory of the nation of Israel, simply because of other occurrences in the Bible like when Jesus was hungry and saw a fig tree he came to get some sweet figs off of it, but finding no fruit on it, He cursed the tree and immediately it withered away. There are numerous other passages that allude to Israel as being like a fig tree like Hosea 9:10, Nah 3:12 etc., so it is a given that Jesus is referring to Israel in the following...[32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
[33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
[34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

This got me to thinking about exactly how long a generation actually is according to God, but if you examine the passage closely, you will come to the conclusion that He probably meant the very last person alive from that generation born during the budding of the fig tree (Israels rebirth) would still be alive and see the fulfillment of ALL the prophecy.

Now please stay with me you learned men and women who profess to know much but are sometimes too smart for your own good...I believe that Israels rebirth happened not in 1948 when she once again became a nation, but in 1967 when she once again regained possession of the Holy Temple Mount during the 6 day war with Egypt, Jordan, and Syria.

Now comes the mathematics part...what in your opinion represents perfection? I mean if we could cull it down to the simplest form and draw it out on paper, the simplest form of perfection would be the circle, or better yet the numeral 0. Why do I say this, because the most perfect number known is of course Pi or 3.14159265...Pi or π is a mathematical constant which represents the ratio of any circle's circumference to its diameter in Euclidean geometry. Pi is special, Pi is an infinite decimal. Unlike numbers such as 3, 9.876, and 4.5, which have finitely many nonzero numbers to the right of the decimal place, pi has infinitely many numbers to the right of the decimal point.

Now using another verse from the bible which I think could be very important which is Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. 666 which is both described as the # of the beast, but also, and more importantly, it is described as the number of MAN! Now I think the clues we find in the Bible represent a formula that can be worked out by simple mathematics.

I therefore thought about which clues relate to the end, and put them in number terms...the budding of the fig tree or 1967 I believe is the known starting point to compute the end time date. Now what is the number or days of man to be finished upon the earth=666. Now since Jesus stated that this generation born during the end times would not pass away until all be fulfilled, I got to thinking about just how old the oldest known person alive is which I found to be 125 years old for a Brazilian woman on a Google search. So now the formula is ready to decipher...

Take the budding of the fig tree which is 1967 and add 125 to it for the oldest known living person who still has to be alive even though I'm sure all from her generation have died which equals 2092. Now take 2092 and divide that by the number of man which is 666 and behold the truth that was so simple yet always in the Bible comes out... the answer is 3.1411411 so very close to Pi and yet when you take 2093 and divide by 666 it is 3.1426426 TOO MUCH!

I'm sure some brainiac can figure the exact date out, but I will not attempt to do so, as several times in the Bible time was suspended by God to make the verse that says no man knows the day nor the hour when Jesus will return ring true.

That's my theory about the world ending sometime in 2092. The math works out in an uncanny way...it is finished.

I just want to say, congratulations on a well put together post. I would give you applause here if I could. I can give you a star though. Although I don't agree with you on some parts, you did a very nice job of stating your theory and presenting your evidence from....gasp..your own research I admire you for not quoting youtube as so many of us are guilty of doing. Good job.

2092? Here's a prediction you can take to the bank. You're gonna checkout before the end of the movie.

I'm giving you a star just for not saying it's in 2012.
That crap is getting old.

Thought maybe this "theory" deserves some more press. It may be a bit harder for non Christians to understand, but if you have any questions, I can try my best to explain it in a clear manner. I put the complete chapter from the Bible in for reference purposes only, so if the bible offends you just skip that part.

I don't think anyone did my theory before. I actually told a man who is big in prophecy about it and within 3 months a major paperback book came out for sale in his prophecy mag stating my theory. Take the time to to read my theory and do the math, it is uncanny, and makes perfect sense.

Its no matter to me man I will not be here in 74 more years so I will not be around to find out if your theory is right or not. But good luck with it........

I would love to agree...

but you bring up 2 things i hate

the bible and god

God was made by man NOT GOD

And reading the start of the post grabbed my attention

Devine intervention!!

the world will not end.. and if it does we sure as hell wont know about it

not mater wat the math says / bible..

its more or less rapture.. why do people fortell the end of the word?

its just dumb all end time theorys are dumb why? becouse man is here to do one job and one job alone

SURVIVE. we are failing this job mega.. and maybe we will have armagedon buts going to be nothing like we can think or know becouse thats in the future

and there are to many variables for the "end"

How about a theory of staying alive.. why all the doom and bloody gloom of end times..

now i know the world is doomed becouse people WANT IT TO HAPPEN..

the last thing on my mind is wanting or wishing the end of mankind or to predict it..

i want to be wizzing about in my uf0 when im 90 ffs!! infact i want to live forerver lol

screw the end times!!
