Is bombing Iraq "back into the stone age" really the solution

I had someone make the statement that we should bomb Iraq back into the stone age. Is there anybody here that supports this ideology. If you do can you please support your position. For the life of me I can't understand how anyone could value life so little. Maybe there is a point of view I am missing...

Do you mean Iran?

I guess the same question could be posed with Iran. The comment that was made to me was regarding Iraq but i guess it could apply to any of the U.S.'s offficial enemies.

I hate to say this but that is such an over used expression. We were going to bomb the Vietnamese in to the stone age hell most of the Vietcong lived like they were in the stone age it never accomplished anything then a bunch of dead Vietcong and Dead Americans!
