John Howard Formally Reported To International Criminal Court

Former Australian Prime Minister reported to ICC

A legal brief has been sent to the International Criminal Court (ICC) alleging former prime minister John Howard committed a war crime by sending troops to Iraq.

"We have produced a 52-page brief of evidence which states to the chief prosecutor of the criminal court that we allege John Howard's actions are war crimes under article 8 of the Rome Statute,"

The 55 page document has been sent to the ICC Chief Prosecutor Mr. Luis Moreno-Ocampo, at the Hague.

I think this is very good news!

While it may not reach fruition, at least these war criminals can spend the rest of their lives looking over their shoulders and wondering if that guy in the suit is about to serve some legal documents.

Does anyone here have anymore info about this? Who this group is? Any UK, USA news articles?

I did a search on Google and only a few mainstream oz news sites are reporting this issue..

Why would the mainstream press be so shy about reporting something that is, after all, a significant and newsworthy event in the Iraq invasion debate?

Does anyone here on ATS believe that the wide reporting of this story could influence the outcome of of ICC process?

I'm talking particularly about "psychic plastic" and "mind over mater reality matrix" stuff here.

Like to read anyones thoughts.

This is going to be something to watch there is alot of people the beleive that the ring leaders of such action should be held accountable that includes gorge bush after leaving power. Then again the american government is just about at the same stage as the old soviet union and the KGB they have spies everywhere they would probably plant someone in this system to provent any action being taken against one of its former presidents. The american government beleives they are answerable to no-one and an example should be made out of gorge bush to bring the american government back to earth with an almighty thud

I imagine bush would head straight to his bolt hole in South America.

I think that it would only take a slight shift in international politics to ensure these people are brought to justice.

This reminds me that Scotland Yard is investigating Blair. Last I read the investigation was ongoing. Any word on this anyone?
