In the overall flow of information coming from the Middle East, there are increasingly frequent reports indicating that within several months from now the US will deliver nuclear strikes on Iran. For example, citing well-informed but undisclosed sources, the Kuwaiti Arab Times wrote that the US plans to launch a missile and bomb attack on the territory of Iran before the end of April, 2007. The campaign will start from the sea and will be supported by the Patriot missile defense systems in order to let the US forces avoid a ground operation and to reduce the efficiency of the return strike by “any Persian Gulf country”.

I dont know if this is a crediable source but just reading it brings new interest to my mind about this crisis.Just what if we do launch a small bombing campaign with nuclear wareheads?Btw this article is a year half old just makes u think what kind of airstrikes if they do launch they might have in mind.

Yeah, not to sure on getting the battle plans from Kuwaiti Arab Times is going to get the kind of street cred. as, oh, lets say the National Enquire might.

The world will not sit idle and watch the US nuke Iran (or any other country). If they do, the whole world might declare war on the US. It would be madness.

I agree no country in the world will allow nuclear warfare on another nation by the US with not motivation at all. If this ever happens the US economic downfall will be devastating, specially when our nation is so Dependant on foreign help to finance our debt and our wars.

We've been hearng in the media for the last 2 years that the US was going to strike Iran by "such and such" date and it hasnt happened. What is even funnier is that all the anti-Bush and anti-American folks almost seem disappointed that it hasnt happened yet so that they can have something else to complain about. Idiots!!!

If America ever did a strike with nuclear weapons if you think you are hated now, wait until then

You will have no idea the hate that will be launched against you. You will be so isolated you will have no idea what hit you.

And of course all the Americans will be standing on their patriotic soap box shouting we are all jealous of their freedoms LOL.

Herman Goering was right.

How would you suggest they "get ready" to repel a nuclear attack? All radar facilities and ground based missles will be destroyed prior to any attack on reactor. It is likely a good part of its air force would also be toast before getting off the ground. The remainder of the air force will be little more than a training exercise. That is if the US is involved.

if the USA is seriously considering use tactical nukes on Iranian nuclear facilities (some 40 spread out sites)

then why are the US forces developing and deploying those 30ton deep penetrating, bunker busters?

then why is the US military busily constructing ~50 permanent bases in Iraq, down wind or at least in the vicinity of the more than 40 tactical nuke targets just across the border of Iran---
and pressuring the Malarki..errr, al Maliki govt in Iraq to accepot & sign an openended 'Security Agreement'...if Iran is scheduled to be devestated and destroyed before oct-nov of '08?

the psy-ops are tossing out the nuke threat for scare mongering purposes and to make the public accoustomed to a seeming 'rational' nature of a nuclear option.
