Gaz is now on commission! (art that is)

I just started taking commissions for artwork!

Right now, I'm just sticking with pencil drawing headshots...

Hopefully, it'll bring in a few extra bucks....

Hey, would you make special prices for ATS users?

It would be cool to have a drawing of my self, plus I'd also like to encourage you, you seriously have a great drawing talent man.

I might become a customer.

Well, considering the above pic took about 5 hours, that's really only 10 bucks an hour...so pretty reasonable... If you have a pic in mind though, go through the process...it doesn't take a cent to get a quote...and an ATS discount isn't out of the question...just be sure to include your member name...

Tell ya what...for ATS members, I'll knock down the base price by 20%...that's $10 off....

Gaz I love your work you really do a great job. Maybe once I find another job I will get you to draw my wife.

BTW... How is your job search coming along? Better than mine I hope.

Got a good prospect, had one interview, it went very well, but unfortunately, they're dragging their feet a bit...as far as the second round of interviews go... It would be perfect, only a couple buildings down from my wife's work, so we could do lunch...and about the same pay (a little less) as I was getting...

This is actually the first time (and hopefully the last) that I've EVER had to draw unemployment, but at this point in my life, I can't afford to take a cheap paying job.... Hopefully, it won't be much longer....

Well, I'm pretty much limiting this to headshots, similar to the works "Ainsley", "Mom" and "Wendy". I'm not adverse to doing more per se', but I'm more focused on that. Keep in mind, props, special effects, backgrounds (such as adding the castle in "Lord and Lady Markham" etc.) are an option too, but of course, more detail = higher quote. Some ideas for the sci fi buffs might be some borg implants or something... Whereas a fantasy buff may want a staff or sword, you get the idea....

Nudes are more up to you than me, hehe..... It's all just lines, shadow, and contrast to me.... As I say on the site, I'll only post the finished pic with permission, so no worries there.... Still, I'm not in the porn biz, so it'd only be tasteful nudes....

Gaz, I was really just kidding, but thatnks for your honesty... I personally wouldn't pose nude or send a nude pic for that matter, some things just don't need to be seen

I knew you were kidding, but felt it a great opportunity to clarify, hehe...

Just added a few idea pics to the commissions part of the site....

I plan on doing one of myself as a terminator some time soon, and also one of myself as a mystic... I'll likely do one of my wife as either a vampire, or the female terminator...

Weird, just noticed the Ainsley pic isn't there.... I'll fix it soon... Anyhow, here's the photo I'm doing the next drawing from... It's actually a composite that I'll blend together in the drawing (artistic license is a wonderful thing.... ) It's for the couple's wedding, so I'll be changing the attire, correcting some acne issues, etc. I'll post a pic of the drawing when done (which should be during the weekend...)

PS: though I've gotten a new job now, I'm still planning on doing commissions on the side....

Well, I wasn't too happy with the drawing, and I plan on doing another of them... It was good though, by most standards, just not mine... I want them to give me another pic (as those were both old pictures) of them now, and not a composite, so I can do a much better drawing of them both....
