I got off the computer "early" last night and forced myself to watch TV instead.

This morning I resisted the temptation by not even going into the living room.

I've been in the doctor's office all morning, got to work barely in time to catch a late lunch .. now finally... 18+ hours later... I allow myself to check in ..

and still no word?

The Myth Lives: You, too, did a very good job.

I just finished reading through that debate and am glad I was not a judge. It looked very close, IMO, and was a fascinating topic. It's a rare thing for me to read the topic, have my opinion in mind, then have that opinion be changed due to the information brought forth in the debate. But that happened with yours.

Much Thanks Ashley, it was a well fought debate and Peacejet deserves the win. Peacejet and I will hopefully, have another big debate coming up in June, it will probbaly deal with Space and alien life again. We will see what happens.

I'm looking forward to the judgement too.

I did enjoy it immensley, a nice distraction from other things and I think Orange and I deserve some acclaim for the slowest debate in FC history!

But like shoe shopping - it needed savouring, aint that right Orange?

HA! You wish. I'll have you know that Heike and I had a debate that spanned two calendar years, I think it went on for five weeks. It went on so long Heike had time to start and finish one, maybe two others, before we got done.

I am glad to see that the place is still standing, but those guys outside talking, gathered around the wrecking ball, are making me a little nervous.

Do we not have any bartenders anymore? Seriously? Is there no virginal, fresh faced Fighter who has yet to complete their first debate that we can order around? I'm in the mood to order or be ordered...

There needs to be some ordering!

I've just enjoyed a delightful Absinthe louche - I know it's no more intoxicating than any other strong spirit but it does give a frisson of danger.

I just got a La Fee absinthe spoon and am thinking of getting an absinthe fountain, can get them on ebay.

I look ever so sophisticated drinking it in my winnie-the-pooh pyjamas, they're best because the built in mittens stop it from making your hands chilly and the lil hood keeps your ears warm.
