No one is more glad to see you back than me. I even left you an honorary(bait) drink out a few pages back when it was discovered that I was the only drinking woman in the FCP.

Here have another:

(It's Bailey's on the rocks with that little mint garnish I remeber you liking so much)

Cheers indeed!

Me!

Though we have been a little overflirted with lately.
Well, Shock has, not me.

On second though....flirting is optional.

Hello, everyone!

Took a few weeks off, but I just couldn't keep away from this place.

Hope everyone had a great holiday season. I look forward to getting reacquainted with you guys again.

Cheers!

MARIAS BACK!!!

Shock was moping 24/7, he was inconsolable.
Believe it or not he started drinking.
I know he was that upset.

It's true...Since I was a littlun, my mother made me promise to never touch the sauce. With a tear in my eye...I made that promise and dutifully stuck to it...until one day when it was apparent that you had left and may never return.

In a desperate atempt to reach a balanced grasp of reality...I found a bottle of what is called..."Rum". My contorted emotions allowed the recollection of my promise to fade into neural obscurity and I began to drink this so called "Rum"...

It didn't help...though to this day the trauma of your absence will forever leave a scar within my psyche...

Welcome back!!!

You know my roommate in college had one of those and it did absolutely nothing to keep the stink of smoke out of our room.

Oh, my! * blushes * I don't whether or not to feel guilty or enamored. Perhaps a little of both is in order.

Perhaps, though consider this:

Heresy! I am a loquacious, jubilant lush who, to date, has never said anything drunk I didn't mean when I was sober. I've never blacked-out, thrown-up -- well, once when I was 15 after trying Tequial Sunrises for the first and last time -- and I am rarely hung-over. As a matter of fact, my liver is a medical miracle. It is has been likened to a pool-cleaner, and I've got blood panels to prove it.

So, don't you go talking about me quitting drinking

Marry Me...

There is nothing quite so endearing as someone who defends, quite eloquently, the right to imbibe amounts of alcohol that would embarrass the whole of the Irish (not this one though...
)...

See how upset he was ...

I guess that pedestal had to come crashing down sooner than later.

Might as well console myself with a bit of the ol' Irish Cream. Just get me a clean glass and leave the bottle on the table.

You didn't leave a note...you just up and vanished!

What's a guy supposed to do...

-Stops before getting into trouble with both Maria and TWISI-

By the way...you have reading to catch up on; we've been busy...

Oh, SD... I'm not that easily taken advantage of, unless you have a deep, silky baritone voice a la Alan Rickman in Sense and Sensibility, in which case I'll just swoon.

Funny you should say that - my voice has frequently been described as mellifluous and lubricious.

As smooth as sliding down a velvet bannister that has been coated in vaseline

Yep that's my voice

Nothing worse than some squeaky voiced oik trying to be smooth

Here's Alan Rickman on King of the Hill:

Now who else do we know that works renaissance fairs?

Be still my beating heart! The Voice has made an entrance.

Well, now everyone knows my other weakness. (Besides my fondness for Bailey's.)

And, yes, Budski... a sexy voice does make all the difference.

* sigh *
