It does matter why because if we changed our policing the world policies and get out of their lands and quit getting in middle eastern affairs I will promise you and am willing to put any amount of money on it that the attacks on America will stop. Why not just read Al Qaida's stated purpose? Their manifesto outlines exactly why they're fighting. And it makes sense, too. I'm pretty sure the US has the 2nd amendment for just such cases, when powers, both foreign and domestic, corrupt the ideals upon which the country was founded.

If you understand the majority muslim view of international brotherhood, you'd understand why muslims the world over are outraged every time there's an attack, either real or perceived, against their community. If your "people" have been physically or politically attacked constantly over the last 100 years, you'd probably be a bit annoyed with the people who keep on attacking.

I agree with you on the cartoons and that bear they names muhammed that they wanted to kill the British teacher you wont hear any arguments from me there those people are sick but those arent the people attacking us and you will have fanatics like that ON ALL sides.

I also agree that we shouldnt have to bend to every little demand that they say but when their one demand is as simple as stay out of our business and get out of our lands to me this is a very easy demand because we dont have the money anymore and we are losing a lot of lives policing the world and empire and nation building. We need to worry about ourselves and put that money we save back into our OWN country and not into building Iraq and looking to bomb Iran so we can build them later too. My biggest problem is that who says this is what he said? Anything that can actually verify that this is what he said? Why? Because if he is talking about Jesus coming back then he is setting himself up for arrest. That is the law in his own country. They do NOT believe in Christianity and it is illegal to preach it.


To me, it is simply a scare tactic to try and give the U.S. (Bush) a reason to invade the country that he has held in his sights right along side of Iraq. If the people fall for this BS again then we deserve whatever we get.

As for the secondary reasoning for this happening, well, I can see the logic there if we were to step back. However, if the 'creator' is all loving then why would it force so many of its creations to die and suffer so extremely just so a small portion could enjoy peace?

Destroy Israel and give them their land back. It was a stupid idea to begin with. It's not like your Jewish and have some deep hatred and vengeance against everybody because of World War II. And just because their was a World War II does not imply there will be a third world war.

I do not know who to thank for these 60 years of hell. It's been a waste of time and a waste of money. All those people suck. We have nothing to prove.

I'm not interested in protecting people that hate me and want me to live a miserable life. Some of my family fought in World War II and all that has happened is us being stabbed in the back for their own cause. These people can go to hell.

This statement has what to do with the Doctrine? I don't see the connection. The Doctrine outlined a policy of unilateralism and pre-emptive military action to suppress potential threats from other nations and prevent any other nation from rising to superpower status.

How does this prove the posters argument? Simple, It doesn't.

BTW, the doctrine is a good policy and I don't see all the fuss.
