You've got my vote.

Hold on; let me ask the Sacred Pug as well.

His Upper Holiness says yes.

yes I believe this will be extremely helpful in spreading the truth of our existence. And return the fear to those who wish to suppress and make slaves of us all.

Can I vote YES again? I'm mildly bipolar, and I was in a bad mood when I voted earlier... the happy half of me feels left out!

Definately a vote of support here. It would be the perfect forum to discuss a story like this:

www.livescience.com...

Humans can see into the future, says a cognitive scientist. It's nothing like the alleged predictive powers of Nostradamus, but we do get a glimpse of events one-tenth of a second before they occur.

And the mechanism behind that can also explain why we are tricked by optical illusions.

Researcher Mark Changizi of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York says it starts with a neural lag that most everyone experiences while awake. When light hits your retina, about one-tenth of a second goes by before the brain translates the signal into a visual perception of the world.

Scientists already knew about the lag, yet they have debated over exactly how we compensate, with one school of thought proposing our motor system somehow modifies our movements to offset the delay.

Sort of like the retinal blind spot or peripheral vision being "filled-in" subconsciously, only weirder as it's done in anticipation of events.

Read the whole thing. Or start a thread. 'Cuz I start threads about as often as I mow the sidewalk.

Of course, if we get into the psychology of paranormalcy (heh, just coined a word) then where do we stop?

Perhaps ten years from now we'll look back and say: "Ooo, hey, Remember when ATS was just a conspiracy discussion site? Who knew then that Daniel Dennett would become one of our resident subject matter experts?".

The future...?

Like a groove in your brain matter. That brought back a ton of memory. Had a 5th grade mathematics teacher that wished to reach in and score our brains with her nails. Ms. Cantelon.

YES!! I'm all for it!

I've started a few threads in the past about things like conciousness expansion and quantum psychology, but they always get moved to BTS where they quickly die.
