I see these response are a bit old, but I couldn't find any other site with a more complete information in regards to this strange rash. I got one on this weekend on my back (left side), and my wife got one just below her left butt. I already eliminated the logical options (no jardin chair, no veins or arteries swelling or infected, etc). I can only assume that it is very similar to an injection with an air device. Obviously the strange part, is that we did not get any shots or were not conscious about getting any shots. photo can be seen at www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=298804243658938&set=pcb.298804473658915&type=1&theater

Hey everyone!

So like everyone else, just looking for some answers or just share the experience! Lately me and my boyfriend have been having a visitor from the states stay over in our apartment and we have cats so we put the cats in our bedroom during the night so they don't harass the guest.

Usually, this isn't an issue as we've done this about 5 weekends in total. This weekend, at about 4am our cat flipped out, like, I mean screaming at the top of his lungs like an alarm until we would let him out. He was scared #less! We opened the door and he ran out. It took us a good half an hour until we found him. He never does this, very calm cat. But something startled him.

That morning, we wake up and my boyfriend has the same honeycomb mark on his back about the size of my palm. He didn't know it was there, as it didn't hurt or itch. It's flat and not raised. All dots equally apart and same size like a grid.
It's been about 4 days since it's happened and it's still somewhat there but fading a bit.

Since then, my boyfriend hasn't been able to sleep past 4:30am ish.

We just find it weird that the same night my cat freaks out, my boyfriend wakes up with unknown markings.

Input?

Would either of you be willing to answer some questions via email about your experience with the red marks? A colleague and I are doing an investigation on this matter and we are compiling evidence and experiences.

Hello everyone, well like everyone else i too have come across this. A few months ago i noticed these exact same marking on my boyfriends upper left shoulder blade. It went away after like 2 days. Then a couple months it came back same spot. And it also went away. I noticed it came back yesterday. Its always in the same spot it always leaves within a few days and comes back within 2 months. We have no explanaition for this. There is no itching so it is not a rash. It just frustrates me i cant find anything about this and i need to know! Anyone with some input please feel free to ask questions

woke up with this, its not raised, doesnt hurt, just a uniform circular pattern of dots on my shoulder. i saw them as i was getting into the shower this morning and i showed them to my friend who joked about it being alien implants.

after i got out of the shower i looked up what it could be online, only to find you guys who actually think it is aliens

we had a good laugh about it

i have no idea what caused mine, i have no material in my house or in my room that i can think of that would cause a rash like this if i were to lean or be presses against it

i have lyme, but that is a different kind of circular rash

i have no other allergies or maladies that cause rash

first time marks have appeared

i in no way think it is aliens

I registered to leave my first message here...

When I had a shower, I just found the same red grid marks on my deltoid like 4 hours ago for the very first time...There was no weird dreams nor "time loss" throughout my lifetime as i remember. And I have no concept of UFO abduction as well.

Ok, so I am just wondering if anyone has a REAL answer? I haven't been on anything with a pattern, I don't have any known allergies, my day yesterday and my night last night were no different than usual but yet today my girlfriend noticed these on my back.

Unlike most of what I've heard, this is the first time and it's in two spots, not one. Also ignore the freckles and pimples on my back, those I'm used to.

It looks like you workout... I have gotten marks like that from heavy benching, or laying on a carpet and lifting etc...that what it looks like to me...

I've had this pattern off and on for over 15 years. No real cause as to why, just shows up every so often. Nice to see other people with the same thing.

These are some great pictures. We are investigating this phenomenon and would love if people would write in and help us understand what is going on: www.experientialdreaming.com...

Hi sillystars, it's been a while since you posted the above. Great detail and a fascinating story, especially considering you had them before. Have you had any other occurrences of these marks since?

Hi there. I just found same grid like rash on my upper back. Thinking maybe it's a heat rash but not sure. Seems really strange. Going to see my Dr next week anyways so I'm going to ask him about it. Will let you know if he says anything.

I'm not really sure where else to go. I've been searching for answers. A few days ago I noticed I had these strange markings on my back. I was concerned but was sure there had to be a reasonable explanation. Its been about 6 days since then and they're still as prominent as they were when I first noticed them. My boyfriend saw them and was concerned. He then reminded me of an incident I had a little over a week ago. I woke up in the middle of the night to my entire bed shaking. I was terrified. I don't really remember it stopping but it obviously did because I was able to fall back to sleep at some point. We've only noticed the bed do that one other time since then but we brushed it off assuming it was something out neighbors were doing. I dont think the two are related, but maybe worth noting? When I woke up that night I have never been more scared. I thought it was my first experience with a form of sleep paralysis maybe until we felt it again a few days later. These marks don't hurt or itch or anything. But they're there and they're worrying me.

Hello I was trying to google these grid markings since I've noticed them on my 12 year old son's back and my search has brought me here. I took a few pictures but they used to be more prominent, its been almost a month that I first noticed the "rash", and its still a bit visible. I would like to add the pictures to the post but Im new and dont know how

My husband woke up with a circular grid on his back. I thought he got burned but it's just red dots in his skin. No pain. Like a hicky but dots. He has been feverish the lady two days. We are baffled. Here is a pic

I would go to a dermatologist as this could either be viral or fungal especially with being feverish for a couple of days. Needs to be checked for sure. Good luck,
