Aircraft 'fume event' tests

hi all i've been reading the board on ats for a while and heres my first post people so go easy

The Department for Transport has announced that researchers will fly on 100 passenger and cargo aircraft with monitoring equipment to determine if contaminated air is making passengers and pilots ill.
