Well my brothers and sisters, don't have to argue about this letter is the real prediction or not . Lies have nothing to do with the church. It's very simple, all you and I need to know whelther this letter is really from sister Lucia or not. Other than that is up to you to believe or not. If the church confirm this letter is from lucia, so let it be. Amen

I personaly think the Fatima thing is a load of crap,seems kind of self serviant if you ask me,seems to me that the only one that worships the Virgin Mary is the Catholic church,so the story seems contrived to further cloud their flock,story doesn't hold water

Besides the fact of being huge on the news scale, and this is the first mention of it, one should always beware of 'emails'.

I also note that the Virgin Mary must of had quite a bit of spare time to recite such a long statement to the then child, and to have her remember it so vividly all these years later.

I also believe the Pope would go through a much more exhausting procedure for the 'unveiling' of the last Fatima.


All that being said, the Catholic church has been loosing big numbers of parishioners over the years, so I feel they would have to come up with something soon regain some of the followers they are loosing.

Fatima the heart of the Message


On May 13, 1982, Pope John Paul II offered the Sacrifice of the Mass in Fatima, during his pilgrimage of gratitude to Portugal. During the Mass, the Pope preached a lengthy homily on ''Mary's Maternal Love.'' I consider this homily the most authoritative explanation of the meaning of Fatima that we have received from seven Roman Pontiffs since the first revelations made at Fatima in 1917.
Early in the homily, the Vicar of Christ made the following statement:
'' The message of Fatima is, in its basic nucleus, a call to conversion and repentance, as in the Gospel.''
'' This call was uttered at the beginning of the 20th century, and it was thus addressed particularly to this present century.
''The Lady of the message should be said to have read with special insight 'the signs of the times,' the signs of our own time.''



The Heart of the Message

What is the Pope telling us? He is saying that ''the basic nucleus,'' the heart of the Fatima message, is a call to conversion and repentance. It is a call to repentance from sin and conversion to God. In the course of his homily, Pope John Paul II combined the two word '' conversion '' and '' sin '' into one word, '' repentance,''so that we may simply state that the core of the message of Fatima is the imperative of the verb ''Repent'' or as a noun, ''repentance.''

The Pope declares that this call to repentance was made by Christ through Our Lady at the beginning of the twentieth century. He further declares that one of the three children who received this Marian message is still living.

What does all of this imply? It implies that if there is one thing that God foresaw the 20th century would desperately need, it was to repent. And even the unusually long life of one of the seers of Fatima--born in 1907 and still alive in her eighties-- only emphasizes the pressing urgency to call the 20th century to repentance.

If we look more closely at what sins the 20th century most needs to repent, there seems to be no doubt. They are the sins of
(1) ignoring the existence of God
(2) denying that sin is an offense against God, and
(3) indulging in the pleasures of this world contrary to the will of God.

Each of these three classes of sins needs to be repented. Each calls to high heavens for conversion and a return to God.

Ignoring the Existence of God

We have become used to pointing to Communism as a diabolical ignoring and even excluding of God from human life. Certainly Communism is godless in its principles and godless in its demonic fury against believers in God. It was surely no coincidence that the Communist Revolution in Russia took place in October 1917, the very month of the last formal revelations of Our Lady at Fatima.

However, the Communist are not the only ones to ignore God. Their organized propaganda against religion has been matched by the organized exclusion of God from public life in one supposedly developed country after another. Take the practical impossibility of teaching any semblance of religion in American public schools. Take the thunderous silence about God and religion and divine worship in the media of social communication in secularized countries like the United States.

You can read a thousand pages in the New York Times or the Washington Post or the Chicago Tribune, and you would never suspect that there are millions of intelligent, educated people who still believe in God and the Ten Commandments.

Secularism, or what the Second Vatican Council calls ''practical atheism,'' is widespread in one nation after another in Europe and North America.

If ignoring God's existence, then, is the first capital sin of the 20thcentury, how do we repent? We repent by prayer. Let me repeat: ''WE REPENT THE SIN OF IGNORING GOD BY PAYING ATTENTION TO GOD IN PRAYER.''

Some years ago, I spoke with one of my Jesuit students returning to India after theological studies and ordination in America. I asked him what he found most appealing and what was most depressing during his four years in our country. Without hesitation, he told me the most appealing thing was the phenomenal liberty we enjoy, and the most depressing was how little we Americans pray.

The Penance of Prayer

Prayer is the repentance we believers must make for the sins of prayerlessness that are so prevalent in our day. Prayer is the expiation we must make, by praying more than we normally would, because so many millions are ignoring God and failing to pray as they should. Prayer is the single most important way that unbelievers can be brought back to God. We must pray for them and, no matter what it takes, we must persuade them, convince them, cajole them to pray themselves. Our Lady of Fatima urges us to pray the daily Rosary for the conversion of sinners and for peace in the world. This will lead us to a deep spirit of prayer.

One single sentence summarizes the whole of God's revelation to the human race. Those who pray will be saved. Those who do not pray will be lost. Without prayer, we cannot obtain from God the grace we need to reach heaven. Heaven is reserved for those who pray. No one else who has reached the age of reason will attain his eternal destiny.


Denial that Sin is an Offense Against God

It is only logical that where the existence of God is ignored, the fact of sin as an offense against God is denied.
No other explanation is possible for the massive denial of the rights of God in commanding his creatures to do his will..

Abortion is the murder of unborn infants and therefore the denial of the most basic right of a human being -- to remain alive. But abortion is mainly the denial of the rights of the Creator to create human souls and keep them united with the body until He calls a person into eternity.

Adultery is the denial of the rights of a husband of wife to the exclusive intimacy of their spouse in marriage. But adultery is mainly the denial of the rights of God who want marriage to be the human reflection of His own infinite loving community in the Holy Trinity.

Contraception is the denial of the rights of society to reproduce itself and thus sustain the existence of families in the world of human beings. But contraception is mainly the denial of the rights of God who wants to create human souls, provided married people provide the human bodies into which the souls, created by God, can be infused.

Homosexuality is the denial of men and women to the sacred experience of married love. But homosexuality is mainly the denial of the rights of God who made two sexes , so that they might, in marriage, enjoy the loving intimacy of each other and by cooperating with the Creator bring other human beings through this world into heaven.

Not only is sin denied as an offense against God, but in our century sin has become legalized, organized and institutionalized. The legislatures of one country after another have made laws that are directly contrary to the laws of God. And the civil magistrates in one country after another, including the Supreme Court, are making decisions that canonized criminals and stigmatize those who defend the rights of God as fanatics who, like the early Christians, must be imprisoned as threats to society.

A Message of Repentance

Our Lady's message at Fatima is that we must repent. Repentance for the sin of denying sin is obedience to the will of God. Whenever we sin, we indulge our own will in opposition to the divine will. To repent, we must bend our wills to God's will. This is the hardest task we have to do on earth.

The kind of repentance by obedience must begin with ourselves. We who have the true faith must merit the graces that others need to be converted in obedience to the Divine Majesty. We must give the example to others of what it means to be humble by obeying the will of God in our lives, so that others may see our obedience and be converted from their evil ways. We must pay the heavy price of bending the knees of our self-will to the demanding will of God's providence. Why? So that God may be merciful to a sinful world and bring it back to moral sanity.

The Ugly Reality of Sin

We must teach others, by word and example, individually and collectively that sin is not a figment of the imagination; that sin is the root of all evils in the world; that wars and suicides, drug addiction and broken families, broken hearts and broken minds--are really the consequence of sin.

We must tell everyone who is willing to listen,and even those who are not willing to hear it-- that unless they repent, they will all likewise perish. We must restore faith in the justice of God, even as we glorify the love of God, in a world that is steeped in self-idolatry.

Whether the offered text of the 3rd secret in this thread is true or not, it sounds familiar and contains moments already present in other prophets, such as St. Padre Pio and Bl. Anna Maria Taigi. Apparently, it makes no harm to fulfill what is asked multiple times: the First Saturdays, the Rosaries, a general heartily conversion to God for everyone and not only the catholics, etc. We all hope we are not among the victims of WW3 if it ever happens, or be it a tsunami, Yellowstone, Katrina. We must be realistic to know that is quite possible to happen (with varying extend), even without a prophecy. Much is written about 2012 as well. A preparation for even lesser cataclysms is the wise answer to all these warnings.

A visionary from the Philippines, Duke Puntalangit, warns that the Fatima chastisements will begin this year 2010. This logic is flawed IMO. Your argument is that the Catholic Church is not a friend of humanity and you cite several reasons:

This isn't to belittle you but I believe that if we are going to discuss pride we should first define it. Dictionary.com's first definition is fair I think, and I think you would agree:

a high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc.

Your argument is that they are pushing their faith and views on people b/c they believe they are the one and only voice of god. Of course they do, isn't that the point of any church? With that said, the Catholic church doesn't really push their views on you, it is the Church's followers that push their views on you b/c they want to save people themselves. With that being said, I'll give you this one in support of our argument.

First of all, the Church itself does not commit Sexual abuses, it is those who are not able to control themselves. Something which the church does not promote. The church does not lust. And if you took the time to look up the public records of arrests from these priests, I'm sure you'd find that they have done time. The church in a country is still governed by the laws in that country.

How much money and funding has the Church given over the years? and while it doesn't make their pillaging right, the church is certainly much different today than it was 600 years ago. The more appropriate question, if we are talking about the church today as you seem to be is: What has the church done in modern times to establish its greed.

You're right. Look at how many civilizations and countries that the Romans have wiped out, they can't be trusted either. For that matter, lets look at the Mongolians, the Greek, and the English.... geez, these countries cannot be trusted. The point being that you are citing things that happened hundreds of years ago that are no where near the same conditions as today.

I'm not the biggest fan of the church, but the Church is one of the most humanitarian organizations in the world. The money, education, and volunteers that they give every year is insane. Why do they do this? B/c they are a humanitarian organization. The fact that you are saying they aren't b/c of some Fatima prophecy which may, or may not, be important is ridiculous. The Church's intention is to get people closer to God, no matter who is in charge, or how corrupt they are. It isn't to have mankind whipped out.

Dear Friends,
I have received several messages asking for clarification regarding some articles on prophecies concerning the present crisis in the Middle East which had been attributed to me.

In this connection, please allow me to clarify that although I personally believe that the Middle East War “could” occur within March to April this year, I do not say this as a prophecy in the sense that it was divinely revealed to me. Rather, I say this as a result of my contemplation of current events, and taking into account the related prophecies which were revealed to me and other prophecies revealed to other visionaries.

The Blessed Mother never gave me any details concerning the Middle East War, neither did I receive any specific dates.
I apologize for not clarifying this earlier and for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

For your good, I will try my best to write here

to give you a simplified version of what I believe will happen in the very near future.



Below are the events which I believe will occur soon:

[1] A Papal visit to Russia, political in nature, will mark the beginning

[2] The Pope will be murdered during the revolution. Then when Europe
will be almost totally ruled by socialists/communists, a “sort of” treaty
between US and Russia will be agreed, after which, a total nuclear exchange
between these two nations, together with their respective allies will occur.

[3] The “Last Pope” will be elected during the course of World War III.

[4] The “True Antichrist” will arrive, halfway, during the Pontificate of the
“Last Pope”. He will arrive after the World War when peace has been reestablished
between the nations. The “True Antichrist” will take the Papal Seat after
the “Last Pope” is mortally wounded.

[5] Europe will prosper during the reign of the “True Antichrist”

[6] The “Last Pope” will successfully retake the Papal Seat a few years later.
He will die immediately right after this struggle.

[7] Unprecedented natural calamities will occur in the US until the
Three Days of Darkness which is the effect of the celestial purging.

[8] Our Lord will return sometime after these last events.

[9] As for me, I will witness the chastisement (the revolution, the world war, etc..)
until the glorious death of the “Last Pope”. However, I will not witness the
celestial purging as it has been revealed to me that I will die before that time comes.

It is very interesting to read what the children learnt from their visions of the "Blessed Virgin Mary" at Fatima in Portugal in 1917. However I advise caution. The Roman Catholic Church is playing it all out with great dexterity. Obviously in 1917 the atomic bomb had not yet been invented. Also the intercontinental ballistic missile had not yet been invented. So where the revelation speaks about the world being destroyed by weapons of war in just minutes we are certainly being told as regard to nuclear war. How could the children have known about such things back in 1917 ? I certainly agree that since men have manufactured these weapons it is only a matter of time and these monsterous weapons of genocide will certainly be used. Indeed just as foretold in the Book of Revelations the world is going to be destroyed in the "Day of Judgement" in less than one hour from start to finish. In the year 2000 AD as part of the millennium celebrations I began to recieve interesting audio clairvoyance from a feminine spiritual domain. I think what ended up happening was that the document released by the Vatican was not signed by Lucia and was much longer than anything else she wrote about. So the Vatican summarized in more words, what they want you to know.

You have to realize, Portugal at this time was undergoing Revolution. The government was taking power away from the almighty Church. People were not sure which side to take. Now that being said, how can you call it a load of crap?

Thousands of people saw 'the Sun dance.' People that weren't even in Fatima saw it happen. Some in the crowd also heard Mary.

It holds water. Fatima is a place of religious truth in Portugal. The story of people who were there is passed down as truth. It happened. You can't say thousands of Portuguese villagers lied about this and thousands more who weren't even at the site lied about it too.

The fact is Lucia was a kid back in 1917 and I doubt she could even formulate a text like that, no matter who told her. And she has been locked up all her life so nobody has access to source. What those people back then saw is a mystery, some say it was a UFO, who knows, but the point is there is too much noise between the event and now to take this sort of thing seriously.

I guess my point is this: Bad things will happen, they always do, it's just life. Getting into an apocalyptic mindset only plays into the hands of sociopaths that want to push us back into a dark age where overfed priests and bloodthirsty nobels ruled the world. Don't fall for this old trick again. Do not buy into the apocalypse in such a way that the people of the world's judgement gets clouded by fear and that it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Well, the US and Russia just signed the START agreement reducing their nuclear warheads. Russia has also declared that an Israeli attack on Iran would be "unacceptable", while at the same time providing Iran with s300 missile defense systems.

I guess we'll just have to wait for the Papal visit to Russia, before dismissing this fellow as a nutcase.

Taking Fatima one step further, it all seems set for the emergence of the so-called Maitreya Christ, now that the Catholic Church has been recieving such sever beatings by the MSM.
