if you think that you can survive the upcoming plagues, famines, wars, and nukes with your family or with a a few friends. You are sorely mistaken. The degree of intensity of the sheer horrors that are upcoming will surely shake the world up completely. I don't care how well you are stocked up even if you have silos of preps and tons of bullets you have little hope of making it through the night.
I have knowledge of the future and I know that many will form survival retreats and end up eating thier families for food. Normal people will become savage like animals.
infected people will be forever modified and can never be healed. Diseases that will literally change your dna structure will race across the globe. the elite have knowledge of these events and have made preparations. Unfortunately even these heavily fortified complexes underground will not shield them from dying.

The biggest survivalists on the internet will have
a huge firefight with other survivalist and gangs. Way too many people know about his retreat and how it was built. Soon after the diseases hit it will be impossible to get to a real safe place. and soon after that you will be turned away becuase you have been modified.
My advice to you is pray. pray for wisdom. DO not be afraid. God will protect you in the trials of the earth. This is not the time to "make preps"

Thank you for the ray of sunshine. How did you gain this knowledge of the future and why are you so certain of it?

Diseases changing DNA structure?

I believe they are known as 'viruses'. Most of them change RNA, but eh, what's the difference, right.

It's been done numerous times in the past already,Otherwise you would not be here to write this.
If our ancestors just quit in times of tribulation we wouldn't be here to read this either..
Are we less than they were??
Should we be any less than they were?

I have knowledge of the future
Is that you Meg??

and I know that many will form survival retreats and end up eating thier families for food. Normal people will become savage like animals.

Plausible scenario..There's enough meat on my family to keep a small country going..
You'd have to undo years of social conditioning to achieve this state of mind though..

I saw that episode of Star Trek Generation too.. They DID cure it..(It was data though.hmmm)

Guess it would be be prudent NOT to publicise your exact location then..

OK So if my family and friends are starving and there's a field full of plants and animals to eat. I won't go foraging.or set traps,or set out a fishing line..
I'll just pray instead then

When was the last time God stood over a hot stove adding a dash of wild garlic to your boef a la carte?

God helps those who help themselves..
Thanks for the interesting insight though..

Get behind humanity and start to open your eyes instead for trying to preach all this doom mongery.

Heliumboy perhaps you should put these insights into a screen play or a book. I think your ideas could be turned into a good horror flick, cannibalistic zombie/mutant themes are popular these days. That maybe your calling.

I was at a dinner party last night... we had all the shish-kabob's we could eat... but the host ran out of propane on the grill. It threw everyone for a loop when I suggested to make a small camp fire with the sticks and broken bricks in the back yard; city folks. Someone joked that we couldn't make a fire from just what is out back... he was thrown for his second loop when I wove twine out of palm leaves, bent some bamboo to make a bow, and was able to produce smoke from a fire bow-drill...

In the end we cheated and used some matches to speed things along; but the point was made. I had kabob's sizzlin' over oak before the host could get back from the corner store with another $50 propane tank.

Heliumboy... I suggest you step off the asphalt... come through the front door and out the back...

Join us in the garden; plant a seed and remember the eternal flame.

I have knowledge of the future too.

I survive.

Come on show a bit of optimism, what makes you think its all for nothing anyway I'd love for you to elaborate, especially on the "i have knowledge of the future" part of your pep talk.

So how do you have this knowledge of the future?

posted on May, 27 2008 @ 09:53 AM

Well, this cheers me up to no end.

Read the name at left. Redneck = survival. Survive is what I do. Today I survive society; tomorrow perhaps my task will be easier and I will only have to survive anarchy.

You are right in certain aspects. It is going to get bad, worse than most think. I haven't seen the future; I don't want to. I don't need to see that kind of horror. You are also right about praying, and that God will help us through, should we allow it.

But what you apparently do not get is that God is already helping us through. For some of us, God has positioned us where we can survive. For others, He is trying to do the same, without interfering with their free will. Still others are here to help the masses survive. He has a plan, which I trust. Should I not survive, God will handle that as well. My preparations are more temporary than they are for the end of the world. The time is not yet, my friend; the things which are coming are mere samples of what will come later, in that Judgment Day we have all heard about. We will soon be facing a time of dire diseases, made possible by our addiction to and fascination of technology. We will be facing a time of civil strife, where one neighbor will kill the other for their food... or perhaps, as you mention, for food. We are facing a time when those we have been conditioned to trust, the police, the doctors, the military, will become our worst enemy. Famine will reign, and those who have much will not be able to survive with what is available.

Perhaps food stores will be useless. Food can be tainted with genetic manipulation or chemicals that would make it useless in certain circumstances. Weapons stores? "Do ye not know that he who lives by the sword must surely die by the sword?" No, these are futile. The only way to survive is to know what's happening, and to know how to avoid it. My storehouse contains few cans, because I need the room for knowledge. Knowledge to rebuild afterwards, because there will be an afterwards. There will be an aftermath of total and complete helplessness, after all we hold dear is gone. Someone must be there to rebuild for the true end.

Your post is therefore not that wrong, but the tone of it is destructive. God wants us to survive. Better to try and prepare those who can be prepared, to inform them and spread knowledge now, than to state that all is impossible and we should simply give up.

You sit and pray. Others will hoard and defend. Still others will wander in search of another precious day. I will prepare myself and mine as best I can, while praying. May all of us survive.

TheRedneck

I agree with him completely, except for the part where god will step in and save you, thats a load of wish wash because without the "hope" of god the human race, or should i say the believers would turn to complete chaos...

thank "god" for the creation of religion to keep mankind in line ey...otherwise the governments would have had a full scale riot on their hands by now...

Hail the pope!!

Fortune favours the brave.

I am greatly interested in your perspective of fate, and i ask you to share that perspective so we can deliberate over whether or not it is a divine gift or an entirely human trait.

And that statement leads me to believe that God will indeed save us, just not in the literal sense that some may think.

If those who believe in God and follow the teachings of Christ survive the coming cataclysm and continue to uphold the golden rule, then humanity will be saved. Albeit not from the creator descending upon Earth, but rather, from the true essence of his teachings - namely, do unto others as you would have done unto yourself.

If the idea and belief of God lead others to help out their neighbor and treat strangers with the compassion that they themselves would want, then you could say that God saved them.

Soldier of Darkness - I agree with you that without the "hope" of God, then the world would surely turn to chaos. But I think it's better to sustain the idea of God in order to ensure that humanity doesn't become a group of marauding animals, as we were so many years ago, i.e. caveman era.

I believe in God, but not modern Christianity. They are not one and the same.

Obviously the comments show misunderstanding of what i meant by praying.
There are a select few locations on the earth which will be completely safe from
the nasty stuff that is coming. Families will be ripped apart by those who want to
go to these "sanctified places" rather than hole up with mom and dad. I do not think that these locations are being considered right now. Nor is it my place to go to the owners of the real estate and tell the to build a retreat. Your duty is to be prepared to leave your belongings and house behind.
