There should be an automatic u2u if someone adds you as a friend.

Plus there have been occasions when I clicked the "add" button by mistake (because apparently im that stupid lol).

It would be fairly unkind for the person to think that they had been added, only for them to check and see nothing.

when the friend foe thing first started there was a flood of u2us going everywhere. I got like 10 in one day. It was overwhelming. I could care less. you can see who added you as a friend if you look at your profile page.

I think that you should be able to send a personalised announcement along with adding someone as a foe however. To tell them why your adding them to your foe list.

Cause the people that I add to my foe list are not people I respect or do they keep me on my toes. No these are people I despise and are revolted by there presence on this board. So if I add you as a foe it's not a respect thing its an I HATE YOU thing. (course if you look at my foe list it's extremely small, I think I have 4 people on my foe list)

I think maybe we should recieve an automatic u2u if someone adds us as a friend or foe. Or else maybe the person adding you could send you a u2u telling you why the chose you as a friend or foe. I just checked my profile (which i'm not in the habit of doing) and saw that there were four more people that had added me as thier friend.


If i had received notice when they added me i would probably know why and therefore what we saw eye to eye on. I would have also been able to thank them in a timely manner.

I agree with jkrog08. I saw this thread and went a checked my profile and what did I find,yup, three friends that I didn't even know I had, How rude of me not to respond to such highly intelligent people. So I did!

It maybe just me, but would also like to know who has been banned recently as well.

I used to be able to see the post that resulted in the 'warn' or the 'ban' but now, often, it has been removed. I think knowing would give a bit of context.

As far as the friends - yes. However, don't you get an email when a foe has been added?

funny----i just took a look at your profile page to see if you did indeed add everyone here to your list of respected foes and i see that although i never listed you as either a friend or a "foe" that the ats skynet computor has called you both for me----scary buisness---i wonder what else it is busy doing on my behalf?------hopefully it is dumping lots of money in my bank account-----not emptying it instead?

Good idea.. I was also going to suggest a U2U explaining which member had starred a post.. like a minor WATS award. But if a U2U for a friend will mean an oveflow in U2Us I guess my suggestion has automatically gone out of the window!

I consider everyone on here a friend whether they're on my list or not. I love you all!

Some of us Dinosaurs are still on dial-up and u2u's are limited so if I haven't added you all as a friend, please know that I still consider the lot of you a friend anyway (at least until you post a logical refutation to one of my posts...)

I usually post a comment to the person's profile if able to, or send a U2U just to let them know I have added them

But can I just add all you cool folk here n skip the mass U2U's/comments ?

I've never actually added a single foe. I doubt I will.

I like to think that adding me as a friend and a foe, you (or "they") balanced it out nicely Maybe it is a trick to sow dissension in our ranks! Randomly "they" select" posters and make them "foes" for no reason.... hmmmm....

if it would free up ats computor "skynet" to do more usefull things then why not eliminate the message that someone has respectfully "foed "you as well ?----frankly i would be more interested in knowing who friended me rather than who foed me.

and this has brought another topic to mind-------several members including moderators "friended" me very shortly after i respectfully "foed" them-----------and i see from recent posts they have made that their supposed "friending" me is definetly insincere---------i would like the option of having their pretended "friendship" removed----if skynet doesn't mind ?
