did you just refer to your computer as Her

Maybe! Slip of the tongue i swear!

If my pc was a "her"........from the way i treat it and amount I spend on here, I would get dumped real quick! Either from assault by kicking her when she don't work or from being to clingy as I basically live on here!

Although the pc is more easier to understand then a woman, but think thats a topic for the Relationships thread!

We have a few computers around the place. I'm not going to post the stats on all of them, but they all run great and do the jobs they're assigned.

We have the laptops that are both HP.

The desk has a tower (down on the left), that is dedicated to music and hooked up to the stereo, but it's also fully connected.
It's a custom build I did for just a media player.

We have a work station in an other room, but it's more of a diagnostic bench if someone drops off a computer for repair.

Even the kitchen microwave has a surprise if you notice the fan on the side.

I wanted something that wouldn't look out of place in the kitchen, so I stripped out a microwave oven and built the computer into the shell.

That's about it, other than than stuff that is transient.

anx loves the toys.
I'm just waiting for him to put a TV in the shower and a PC near the toilet.:bnghd:

One nice thing is no waiting time to get on line.

Pretty much.
I have an antique desk with a flip top that will open as a screen with the working parts built into a drawer on one side and DVD burners on the other side.

It's a work in progress, I have this idea that technology can be available but invisible.
I do some custom work for other people, though most of my tinkering is for my own enjoyment.

Thats so awesome. Retro indeed! Would be even cooler if you made the microwave buttons correspond to a keyboard

Hey anx - seeing your kit made me think of this...

30 lit of cooking oil as a heat sink.

And I must say the dude doing the siliconing did a terrible and ugly job - I sometimes silicon for a bit of extra pennies. But he was prob only after oil tight not aesthetics I suppose.

Awesome! What else can I say to not make this a one word one liner?

I really like the microwave idea... Looks tight too, how long to build?

Ya man you have some skill that is for sure, nice work and I like the way you think... I was thinking the same type of setup for my car... Why have a stereo when you can have a computer built into the car?

Jaded you have the best computer in the world... ! hehe.. Trust me there are faster machines than mine... =) I never really liked laptops much because of the lack of expandability... I like to add to later when i need more power than having to buy a whole new system... cheaper... easier... But then again lugging a desktop around would be hell... So you do need them for some things...hehe

Have you checked out the microsoft desktop ?

Sweeetnesss!
