Israel-Syria dialogue 'to continue' I SMELL A RAT!

Three days of indirect peace talks between Israel and Syria "satisfied" both sides and will continue periodically, according to Ali Babacan, the Turkish foreign minister.

Israel and Syria, sworn and mortal enemies, are holding peace talks under the sponsorship of Turkey. Secret meetings, now made public, have been held in Istanbul.

These 2 nations hate each other with a passion. Why would they suddenly be involved in negotiations for peaceful relations? Despite what the media promotes as Syria's need to come out of isolation.

Either the US and Israel have warned Syria that Iran will soon be obliterated and if they remain allied with Iran, they, too, shall no longer exist.
Id like to hear other peoples views on why these peace talks are taking place, you have to admit it is odd..
