Well you know this is always a matter of preference, comfort and practicality..

I went for the Aztec Hobo 80l..

Plenty of compartments.
rip stop,
nice hollow in the back for breathability,
adjustable frame,
sits nice on the hips for heavy loads.

Has a zip off smaller day pack which i take when I leave the bigger unit at camp..
It gets all the REAL emergency gear in it too..REALLY useful

Of course it's not 'CAMO' though..that might be a consideration,..But I prefer not to look too 'military'.. rather like a regular hiker/camper.

Don't like drawing unwarranted attention.

Hey, impressive bag it looks like a good sturdy all-rounder.

Whats the capacity of the day sack is it 30L and 50L for the main sack or what not?

I'd have to take a stab at 25-30l on the day pack.. It feels like you're wearing a kid's satchel anyway.. Very inobtrusive.

I get inside.
First Aid kit
Survival Tin
Windup torch/radio/bat charger
Mini fishing rod/lures/line
Storm lighter.
Knife & sheath
Basha
Mess tin & stove +bottle of extra gel fuel.
Compact cutlery
24hrflask
handline/copper snare pack
Parachutecord

Mug and water bottle fix to straps.

2weeks worth of beef Jerky.. mmmmmmm if I don't eat it first...

vit tablets
2 weeeks coffee sachets/soup packets..

Now If I could only find room for a hot blonde and a tin of whipped cream
