OK i need help???

I didnt know where to ask this so please just hlep me.

Question.


After suspicion i decided to connect my comp directly to my comcast cable modem via cat5 to renew the ip etc.


i used to have the cable modem go to a netgear router and then wirelessy connect my cpu that way.

my question is when i just plug in directly to my comcast router i get a INSANELY HIGH CONNECTION SPEED like 30mb/s

is this normal.... I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SPEEDS LIKE THIS ON A CABLE connection

Yep. That is what it looks like. I think Comcast is conspiring to blame you for sucking all the DL speed out of Chicago cable.

Maybe you should move.

seriously and i just went to post this question over at godlike and it says my ip is banned. ive never posted with it before WTF
