GOD?? pfft I will make my own

Well, since the majority of the world believes in different GOD I decided to follow one too, I did alittle research and I didn't like any of the GODS unfortunately so here I am making my own loving GOD.

Aftere think for a while I decided that my GOD will be TIME Yeah TIME, don't laugh, you will be surprized how close my GOD is to all the other antient GODS.

You might be wondering 'aaaaaaa what makes your GOD soooo special', well my GOD is as special as all the other GODS.

- My GOD is the only thing which has the possibility of existing before the BIG BANG, you might be wondering, 'aaaa what's soo special about that'. welllll since my GOD might have existed before the BIG BANG, it means, it could be the creator of the UNIVERSE. YEAH that's right just like all your GODS who created the UNIVERSE my GOD did it too

- You might say that 'aaaaaaaaaaaa my GOD is better than yours cause my GOD controls the UNIVERSE', well without my GOD the UNIVERSE wouldn't exist. Think about it, without time the planets wouldn't be able to evolve and the universe wouldn't be able to evolve and so onn and sooo forth.

- You might say that 'aaaaaaaaa well my GOD has a son, there's three GODS in one and one GOD in three, and the son of GOD came to save us from our sins', well my GOD is three in one and one in three is well, think about it. PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE, PAST is the son who came to save us from our sins. Yeah that's right, PAST is there for us to learn from our mistakes and to right the wrong.

- You might say that 'aaaaaaaaa my GOD is better cause we can worship it through idols', well my GOD doesn't need idols, we all have clocks which is a representation of my GOD but in actual it's is not my GOD, similar to what the Hindus say.

- You might say that 'aaaaaaaaa my GOD created the humans', well evolution occured through my GOD, without time evolution would be impossible, without natural selection all species would extinct.

- You might say that 'aaaaaaaa my GOD created empires and destroyed them', well TIME also created empires and destroyed them, no one can stand the test of time, that's why TIME is my almighty GOD.

You might say that 'aaaaaaaaa my GOD teached me meditation to get closer to him', well that meditation is actual to get closer to my GOD. You need patiance to meditate and patiance is being able to stand time, if you do that you will get closer to my GOD.

Can anyone prove my GOD wrong?? Can anyone prove that my GOD doesn't exist?? Who knows one day when we know more about time, everyone will follow my GOD

Yes, I think you are onto something here! Heck, this is exactly how every other god got his start after all. It's been far too long since a new god popped up anyhow.

I imagine in 500 years or so, they'll be putting statues up to you around the world! All you have to do now is find a small group of deluded...errmm..I mean, 'fanatical' followers who will help you spread the word.

Maybe consider writing a few chapters of your new holy book: you know the kinda thing, laws, miracles, a few visions perhaps?? Make lots of grandiose claims - and you'll be printing money in no time!!!

I disagree. Pointing out the ludicrous nature of deity worship is far from being a 'flame'. If anything, it's a highly original way of exposing the arbitrary and bizarre nature of organised religion. Heck, Monty Python made a good living out of it - and no-one thought they were stupid (well, other than the Vatican..).

Thank you for making this new god. I will now devote my entire life to this god. I will blindly follow this god and not listen to anything else. I will now start spreading the word, and damning everyone who does not believe in this god to hell. If you do not believe in this god then you will suffer and not be nearly as happy as me.

This OP's god is all based on faith right? Just like every single other god out there. So this god is just as real as the christian god, or the hindu god, or the flying spaghetti monster.

I still cannot understand how everyone thinks that their god is the right and only way. Come on opinions are like Aholes, everyone has one. So why exactly is your god right.

I'd seriously like to congratulate you, you have made an important step. You are learning to think instead of follow blindly.

Most people are born and told to read this book or that and this is where they will find God. So they do. They become the sheep that do as they are told and never actually try to think for themselves.

Religion is the easy path, it is the cowards way out. They believe what they are told to believe rather than trying to form a relationship with the divine on their own.

God created man, man created religion. All who believe in religion are denying themselves the relationship they deserve with God.

Free the chains from your mind and the chains on your soul will melt away.

Ownification, your on the right path. There is no such things as different gods with super powers who have beards and watch us through the clouds. There is only one timeless non-physical consciousness which I call GOD. We all come from it and we will eventually go to it since we are part of it. (Doesn't make sense but thats how I can explain it) Remember live with love and light instead of fear and darkness. Thats the only path to spiritual and physical oneness with the universe.

This thread is seriouse dude, don't confuse it as childish because of it's charisma.

Please explain to me which part of the post makes you think it's '"anti" something", also explain which part of the post gives you the indication that I'm looking for a fight.

Time is the fourth dimension according to Einsteins general relativity. A Tesseract is the four dimensional version of a cube. You can't exactly picture 4 dimensions buit you can unfold it into three. Salvador Dali did a painting of Jesus on an unfolded tesseract to represent Jesus matery over all dinmensions including time.

the hope of a real servant of Messiah is the resurrection to life forever as a literal son of G-D(1corinthians 15)

verse 42 the resurrection of the dead.it is sown a perishable body,it is raised an imperishable body.

Yahvah will not force anyone to accept Their gift of life forever.death forever is what those will reap by worship of false "gods" if they persist in their travels down that road(revelation20:11-15)

For someone to believe in some vague 'higher powers', to me, is a cop-out.

Some people say "I believe in nothing and yet everything. (Aren't I wise?)"
Then, they go full-force to insult people with faith.

I personally encountered God and THEN learned what he wanted me to do.
It's not about 'religion'.
It's about 'relationship'!

How did time create the universe? I've never seen time do anything but pass. How do you know time was there before the "big bang"? What life lessons has time taught you?, notice I'm asking you what time has taught you, not life experiences, but time, no things that you have expaerienced over a course of time, but time it's self. I worship the uncreated, I worship something that was here before time was, now that is something to wrap your mind around, try to invision something that could exist before time, before moments passing, to me it's pretty much impossible, so I try not to, but it's still neat to think about every now and then.

How did time create the universe? In my faith time has a conscious and since time is the only entity which could exist before the BigBang, it could in other words have caused the BigBang. Through time the universe evolved and came to what it is today.

How do you know time was there before the "big bang"?

What life lessons has time taught you?
We learn from our past, as I said before, Time is three in one and one in three and three in one. Similar to the Christian belief where the son of GOD was sent to save the mankind from their sins, past is here for the same purpose, we learn from our past mistake. Guess what, humans have learnt from their past, that's why we have laws which protect the enocent from individuals who don't learn from their past. At the moment most people are doing what GOD wants us to do (evolve to a better being).

Similar to the Christian belief which states that the son will be resurrected, past can also be resurrected. Their are many theories on how we can resurrect the past.

Time had the power to cause the BigBang and evolve the universe to what it is today therefore i'm quite sure TIME has the power to resurrect us. I'm sure all the scriptures come from the same GOD, you can see the similarity, "Similar to the Christian belief which states that the son will be resurrected, past can also be resurrected. Please focus more on comparing my GOD to yours (UNITY IS WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO ACHIEVE). Also try to disprove my GOD, it shouldn't be that hard since your GOD is the correct GOD and my GOD sadly is not. SUX

Judging from your previous response though it seems you view time as more philosophical, more than literal. I view my God literal, not philisophical, however I do not dismiss symbolism or take symbolism literally.

You are disproving my GOD by showing a painting of Jesus, which supposedly has power over all dimensions, am I on the right track?? Well that's not much of an argument, Jesus died(for what ever purpose), yet time still lives on, eternal. Time had no beginning and has no end, the only entity in our known universe with such characteristics.
