I know this goes against the topic of this thread and that you may have covered this already in another (i havent check yet but I will), but I'd be curious to learn what you think are the most real or convincing videos that you've come across.

In cases like this one, you'd have to watch at the video frame by frame when it closes up:
some of these people, is used to superimpose the object as it will appear in the next frame to the current one, in order to create "a motion blur like" effect: the more is detailed the image, the more you have some chances to spot it: in this case it's obvious.


Now, look carefully at this sequence:

you will notice that the "cloned" part falls exactly where the object will fall in the next frame:
basically, it anticipates its movement.
The advantage of this technique is that when one watches the video in real time may gets a very convincing motion blur effect; its fault, has been roughly explained above.

Oh.. also. I'm trying to track a video down, and it had all the hallmarks of a manbird video but it isn't on his youtube account.

A gigantic ufo moved across the horizon with lightning bolts arcing below it, it eventually stops and something explodes on the ground. Then the camera is in a car following it down a freeway. I saw it a while back and it was really well done but i haven't been able to find it since.

Thanks and sorry for being a dumb wit.

We had a craft land about 200 meters from our camp site back in august 1977 in the UK, it was 2am and most of us was awaken by a brilliant light through the tents and a feeling of static shock while in our sleeping bags.

Now looking back may be it was a reversed engineered craft as Suffolk and Essex was full of RAF/American bases.

TWO DAYS AFTER publishing the "article" that you've mentioned, published an analysis which brought them to a totally different conclusion, so, please, at least check your sorces before posting.

3) The alleged "debunking" of the video has already been mentioned by me at page 1 of this thread, so, please, at least read the thread before posting.

4) In according to the journalist,this is the "debunking":

basically, the journalist claimed to have received an email by some guys
who claimed to be the authors of the video: well, who are them? How did they made it?
What softwares did they used? Where are the sources of the 3d models used, where is the original file, where are the proofs?
This is the most ridiculous debunking i've ever seen.

As per my earlier comments on ATS and on Youtube, the video quality
is TOO POOR to make any objective comment regarding the possibilities
that the lighting is "Bad" or that there are JPEG artifacts on the edges
or any other type of OBJECTIVE Forensic-Quality Video study
that DEFINITIVELY PROVES that the Italian UFO video is a CGI or Real.

In fact, the video to me, looks like it was taken using a Hi-8 or Digital-8
video camera simply because of the crushed black levels (i.e. no detail
in the dark areas) and blown out white levels (i.e. no detail in highlights)
and then poorly compressed using windows media maker or even
possibly the Cinepak codec on Quicktime - the video is just too piss poor
quality to make an OBJECTIVE statement of FACT!

HOWEVER, The MOTION of the Aviano craft is VERY realistic
in how it rotates, baubles around and twirls as flaps open & close.
I also see what I think is a HEAT SHIMMER surrounding the craft
but this could be an artifact of the video compression codec used.

The only part that looked UNREALISTIC was the last few seconds
when it zoomed into the distance.

At that part of the video, it looks like somebody cut out the real craft
and did a scale-down over a period of empty background frames
to make it LOOK LIKE the craft zoomed off into the distance.
That part DEFINITELY looked like an edited clip and the "Fakeness"
of that zoom-to-distance jolted me.

Again, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY to disprove or prove the state of
the Aviano craft as CGI or "REAL". And as another poster asked, what
software did they use, how did they do it and where is the 3D model
file if it truly IS a fake CGI craft?

If the video is TRULY REAL, then who is the camera person,
what camera did they use, what tape format was used,
and how was the video encoded to Youtube?

The Haiti craft was VERY WELL done, and as a 1993 graduate of
the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology's Cinema, Television,
Stage and Radio Arts program (2 years) in Broadcast Television
(Videographics), and after 15 years of Professional Video Experience
and 20 years of Computer Software Development Expertise, I can say
with some professional opinion that the Haiti UFO videos have been
the BEST and MOST REALISTIC of the fake UFO videos
that I have seen YET! And the reason was not just the lighting
and render quality...but also the REALISM of their motion
which made me say WOW !!!!!!

So if the Animator of the Haiti Video is reading ATS, then I say to YOU
that those videos were TRULY PROFESSIONAL QUALITY with Top-Notch
motion-realism and GREAT lighting! A TRUE EXPERT YOU ARE !!!!!!

And also with some professional opinion, I can say that the Italian
UFO video is ALSO a WOW type of video, because if it IS fake,
then the motion realism was done by a TRUE EXPERT in Animation.
but due to other qualities shown within the Aviano video, even with the
"Fake" looking zoom-to-distance at the end, I am inclined to say
on a SUBJECTIVE BASIS (not provable objectively though!) that
the majority of the video segment is of a REAL UAV craft
or at least of a decent real-world RC model aircraft!

If any two Italian Animation Geniuses would like to prove me wrong,
then send me your animation file and further details and I'll
be the FIRST to congratulate you on your animation genius!

Any other comments or links to TRULY superb Fakes
or possibly REAL UFO videos? Detail them here on ATS!

Oh and I forgat to add, that I saw a model of what looked very much like
the Italian UFO on a Raytheon sales-type person's trade show desk who
said a Canadian aerospace and some European companies had collaborated
on a UAV that was like that model I saw!

So I am inclined to believe the Italian UFO/UAV
at least depicts if not IS of a real craft!

Well if the Aviano case is a UAV (most likely) then it is not a UFO, but an IFO

But all this youtube video fakery is sending a clear message

The hoaxers have won... there is so much crap out there its hard to justify the time to waste looking over endless videos to try to find one good one...
