I feel drained & achy, so much so that I can't even get comfortable enough to sleep. I'm also wary of what might come following last night's/yesterday's quiet period around the globe. There's no real rhyme or reason for feeling that way about it, just a sense of something looming.

Never seen the cat sit in front of the door and just state at it. Been about 45 minutes now. I snuck out the back door and checked out front, nothing out there. Hasn't made a sound but her hairs are raised up. The kids are all sitting staring at the cat now lol. They noticed her first.

Mild pressure, tired also. Feel just beat down.

Peace

I feel that way too. I am trying to find the strength to go food shopping. Had some digestive issues the past few weeks and I felt terrible last night. No real idea what's the problem but yuck. The idea of facing shoppers and driving is just too much to handle. Feel like it will drain me completely, but I need food.

Aw here we are again, all with the same symptoms. I'm absolutely done and I slept about 14 hours last night, which is totally not my normal pattern. I just have nothing like my usual energy, and have had the worst IBS symptoms in about 10 months these last two days. I still don't know if it's the whole fibromyalgia thing, as that's just about impossible to diagnose anyway, but IBS, aching joints, very low energy, feeling like my head is wide awake, but my body definitely isn't, and that alone is making me anxious...like I need help with that!
I'm still having very vivid dreams, again not my norm, and last night it was about moving house.

Take care all. I still feel that whatever the event is that is gonna hit us hard at some point soon, we totally won't see it coming....it will be very sudden, in a very strange location, something we just didn't expect. All we can do is report and talk and try not to stress about it.

Glad to see other people checking in, was hoping it wasn't just here!
I slept good last night, but was sooo hungry before I went to bed.
Gave in & had popcorn too. Sorry, you can blame the next eq on me!

Hubby woke up on the wrong side of the bed!
Cranky pants extraordinaire!!!
He hasn't been like this since he stopped eating gluten, a year & a half ago!!!
It's nothing he could have eaten though.

Which leaves incoming or ....
Hmmmm, anything solar going on?
It has been awfully slow & quiet.
Cats aren't feeling anything...yet!

Don't know what to think?
'Manopause'??? He's a little too old for that!

Stay safe everyone!

This "strange location", is interesting. I of course think of my neck of the woods in San Diego.
I posted something about it on the Possible Developments for next The 'Big One' SoCal on San Andreas Fault Line!

We keep looking at the obvious but what other possibilities are out there.

Ok, I'm a bit freaked, and I'm trying to remember or find a series of posts I made here a while back about the Sacramento area....there is something in your post about this fault that's ringing an alarm bell with me. I know they're not connected geographically, but it all centered around a very intense dream I had, and very clear images I was given. Let me see if I can find it.

It's funny you mention food shopping, the husband & I just got home from doing exactly that, as reluctant as we were about going at all. We are both extremely tired, although he had a sound 6 hours of sleep. I had very light sleep, every single noise possible kept me from crossing into full sleep. I've had essentially zero sleep, since I was in that state between barely awake & asleep the entire night. We needed to go shopping no matter what, but it took us forever to get in to gear to do it. we usually go the very first thing in the morning and try to get it all done within 1-2 hours of the store opening (we really love early morning grocery shopping, very quiet) Instead of leaving around 7:30-8am, we finally got out the door around 2pm, and the entire trip felt very rushed. We also stopped at a hardware store for some small home improvement items, so that didn't help the rushed feeling that late in the day.

Now I'm even more tired than I was,but I still can't settle down enough to even nap.

I can relate to that!
We were supposed to go for groceries yesterday when hubby got home from work.

Instead he went & got another load of wood since the groundhog was so wrong!
We said we would go today, but then couldn't push ourselves to!

I'm getting low on cat food & it makes me nervous!
I usually keep well stocked!
That's just when something major will happen too!

I usually have at least a few week's supply of everything, most stuff even more.
Only two things I wouldn't be able to find good substitutes for....

Toilet paper & cat food!!!

We've been there, without butt wipe for a few days at the end of a pay period. I cloth diapered our kids, and used washable/reusable wipes, and I had the idea that since it was so simple to wash & sterilize them on the washer's sterilize cycle, to keep a small stockpile at all times. You never know when cloth TP might come in handy! The few times we've needed them, they've been a lifesaver.

I'm not sure what I'd suggest for the kitties. Some will not eat anything but raw meat, some will not eat anything but cooked, some only like a specific type, etc. It's not healthy in the long run because it lacks vital nutrients, but you can give a cat kitty friendly veggies and meat (like boneless chicken thighs) for about a week if need be it.

It's a little odd that so many of us are so wiped out, and also the grocery synchronicity is interesting. I'll keep an eye on the EQ maps, and maybe turn on GEE for the seismos tonight. Unless I fall asleep, that is.

Ok gets freakier, I'm originally from Sacramento, moved to SD in 98. Grew up in Rancho Cordova.

I saw your dream post and it sounded like you described this LA Water Canal

And freakier still is I'm trying to move to Sacramento.

Also yeah the grocery store thing is interesting I made my post earlier and when to try and get myself ready to go around up sleeping until 3 PM in which I was able to then get up and get out but I didn't go far I only went to 7-Eleven. Which was a huge mistake because I'm nearly broke and really have to save and I spent more money even though I really really tried not to. I've been feeling somewhat unsettled and I believe it could be just due to the amounts of sleep I've had. When I get a whole lot of sleep I have this feeling that I generally don't like. Almost like an open "Portal" somewhere on my back or the back of my head it feels just open and vulnerable and I hate it.

I'm not long awake here, after yet another night or very weird sleep, and I'm totally...completely...freaked out by the canal picture. It's exactly what I saw in my dreams, same angle of perspective, same proportions, identical apart from I saw that the pylons were actually towers built of stone, and a little more square. Same height and dimensions though. I think I even saw the bridge in the distance and that's where the water was coming from, one huge wave that hit the towers hear the top. I really don't know what to think now. I hope to God it's not a premonition of something.

Apart from that, my symptoms are worse this morning. If this isn't fibromyalgia, then I don't know what it is, as every joint in my body is aching, even my jaw, even when I'm lying still and keeping warm in bed. Elbows and ankles are the worst.

I forgot to mention the stocking up thing the other day. I've been planning that too, for the first time in many months, and it's the wrong time of year for me to feel like that. Usually it's an autumn thing, which is very sensible in this part of the world, as there is a fair to good chance of getting snowed in at least once over the winter, but it's inexplicable to have it in March. It's snowing bad here, but that's not it...we know that won't last long, and it hasn't stopped us here. It's something else entirely.

So...back to Sacramento. There are too many people mentioning it to ignore it, so is there anything in that area that we should be worried about? I think the original post on this subject mentioned a place called Acton, which we found somewhere near there.

Well, I'm glad I followed my gut and replied. I never would have seen your post about the canals if I didn't . I picked that image from a google search for LA canals, its from this sight Manufactured Landscapes

There is one physical connection from Sacramento to Southern Cal, its the aqueduct systemWiki
It starts in Sacramento delta and pumps water over the Tehachapi Mountains into the Los Angels Basin.

Interesting the progression of these discoveries, your first image you posted after the dream was in Dixon just outside Sacramnto west of the Sacramento River that feeds this massive aqueduct system, eventually to this recent more accurate image of the LA water Canal.

Not sure what to make of all this. I'm sorry your in the middle of it right now, I will pray you get some clarity. if I can help let me know.

Thank you for the reply, and I'm not sure how much use I can be with all of this. I have no technical expertise at all, but since this is an alternative thread, I feel it's the best place for me, and I can point and whimper all I want.
All I have are instincts, occasional dreams which can be shockingly vivid, an other sources of information that step in from time to time...let's just call them other dimensional for the moment, cos I can't think of anything else.

I wish I could be clearer about what I'm getting, and I've tried in the past to get more information, clearer information, but I haven't nailed that technique yet. Maybe I'll work on that this week, since I have some time to myself.

About the original dream image. Is the canal you posted about in an area that could be affected by tidal inundation, or am I seeing extreme flooding from some other source, maybe weather related? I don't understand how the water could be so high up the towers, but who knows what's possible.

On another cheery note, one of my other little obsessions has woken up recently...the Canary Islands. Lots of rumbling and wiggling observed, and I've had the same kind of vivid water inundation dreams about New York in the past, which would likely be affected if the projected Canary event actually kicks off. It scares the bejesus out of me, to be honest.

Thank you again for the reply...this all makes me feel a little less weird and isolated. I know there is not much we can actually do, but talking and comparing is useful. And slightly theraputic, to be honest!

Found this interesting pice of doom
Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta

A significant earthquake in the region (magnitude 6.5), which is not unlikely in the coming decades,[4] could cause widespread levee failure, allowing saltwater to flood the Delta and enter the canals that supply fresh water (for irrigation and drinking) to central and southern California.[5][6] This scenario is sometimes called the "Big Gulp",[4][6] and it is estimated that it would cause $40 billion of economic loss to California.[5][7] A similar result (widespread levee breaches) could also be caused by a combination of sea level rise, high tide, and storm surges.[4] [edit]

I know we get worried about Tsunamis, but what about dam and levee breaks, they could be just as damaging.

According to the site the canal opens into Long Beach, a very popular coastal town. It pretty much runs through the urban developments.

So ya, it is very susceptible to tidal inundation.

I would say its a bad situation...or could become one.

In April 2009, the environmental group American Rivers declared the Sacramento River Delta the nation's most endangered waterway system. The Delta's environmental problems include pollution, declining fish populations, and aging levees. Here, remains of a fiberglass barge rest up against the soft shores of an island near the Sherman Island Waterfowl Management Area.
Calfed, a federal-state program in charge of managing the Delta, is on the verge of financial insolvency, adding to the environmental problems and making it more difficult to secure funding for projects like this.

Damn, this all sounds weird and frightening...I wish I could be more help. But then I think, what is the point of this anyway...who honestly is gonna read this if it's true, and how will it make a difference to anyone? I'm going to have to leave the dust to settle on this for a while and see what's left. If I distract myself with mundane stuff, sometimes new information pops up. I hope so. Thank you for the replies...back later!

For the record...tonight is bad. I'm very anxious, narky, bad tempered, a bit depressed, feeling panicky, very sore joints.

Hope you all ok. Talk tomorrow if you're around.
