Attitude? If by that you mean my opinion that we should not blindly support Israel when it goes against our own interests or the general peace and stability in the region - then yes, that is my attitude. If by attitude you mean my hope for moderation and conciliation over constant threats and violence, then yes - that is my "attitude".

Versus yours, which seems a bit condescending.

*Sigh* Let's just meet in that field beyond right and wrong, I'll be waiting.

Agreed, but we all know it's the 10% who runs this world, they are the ones the 90% have to address. The question is how.

Not by violence, I hate violence, but I love justice.

Seriously.

And those who try (no name mentioned) get ridiculed.

Look, when I was young --about 40 years ago or so-- we were socialist (that wasn't as bad where I come from as it was in America), and the hotest thing a young person could do was to go to Isreal and work in Kibbutz.

Israel was seen as a socialist country back then, and I do think Golda Meir, Ben Gurion was another kind of people than the leadership they later had.

For me it changed with the attrocities done/allowed by the Israelies in Shabra/Chatila under the ciommand of the later PM Ariel Sharon.

Look at him now, second year in coma, the poor fella can't even die.

yes...there´s so much to say on this multi-coloured subject, but if we start, we´ll still be talking in one year.

Should you ever open a thread on the israel-palestine question, please let me know. Id be happy to provide an angle thats unpopular on ATS.

To Kosmicjack: Sorry if I offended you. Be well.

I am not gonna oprn any thread on a hornets nest ...and be cornered as racist, anti-semitic or worse, cause I am not. Like I said I'm for justice. That's all.

Yeah, thanks for the rant.
