WASHINGTON (AFP) - Five alleged co-conspirators in the September 11 attacks have been referred for military trial on capital charges, but charges against a sixth -- the alleged "20th hijacker" -- were dropped without explanation, the Pentagon said Tuesday.

Did they drop the charges because they scared of how they treat him at Guantanamo Bay. And worry they could be in trouble.

I would think that the charges are being dropped due to lack of credible evidence.

I do like, however, how this is being done in a fairly quiet way. The old "Ooops, we goofed" mentality.

I think that there will be people still wandering free who are responsible for 9/11 20+ years from now.
I dont think they will ever catch Bin Laden.

It's admiting mistakes in a sense by dopping charges without explanation.
It seems the good citizens dont deserve one
