OK.......In a newspaper (Courier Democrat) page 1A, top of the page- Russellville, AR last week, or maybe week before last, there was a top news
article about the Dardanelle, AR City Council having a special meeting called because apparently they have some sort of trouble with massive
"delirium" in their population. The city council was trying to implement new policies to deal with this ongoing, and ever increasing problem. The
article stated that these people with delirium have really high body temperature. The article was very vague, and yet very descriptive. I don't
know if they were too bashful to say......."We have some sort of serious drug problem here." If it was a drug problem that they were referring to,
I would think that they would have a standing policy as most police departments do. If they suspect over dose then usually a police department will
call an ambulance, and if not, then they take them directly to jail until they sober up. This was a special meeting called to deal with "Delirium."
I wrote a note to the editor of the newspaper basically saying what I have just said to you, and adding "Should we be preparing for a Zombie
Apocalypse?" The editor never responded. Perhaps he was busy, but I intended the comment to be taken as a joke, and there was no response. I have
also been amused that this same newspaper has had repeated advertisements for specialty bullets called "Zombie Rounds." They are for sell at a
local pawn shop. If you get a chance look this article up, and get back to me. I would like to know if anybody else found the article bizarre.
