Read the reply from horza dude/dudette above. It makes it quite obvious unknown313 had help from him/her in uploading. Besides that (lack of upload/download experience) is hardly an indicator of motive to hoax.

Are you still seeing this at night (e.g. last night?). If yes, then please see if you can get(borrow) a telescope. Even a simple 4" will do, then see if you can capture images form the scope thru the vid. cam or even the still cam.

In case you do go that route, to get a good pic form the 'scope, make sure you use your zoom, that way the small image formed by the 'scope will be captured in greater detail.

maybe you can look around for a cheap tripod for your camera, or see if one of your family members may have one kicking about you could use for a little while

you may even find one in a thrift store so dont rule out that possibility

I havnt been able to locate a veiwable satellite at the moment, maybe the time isnt right yet, as soon as i do i will put it up

I read horza's response, but he never made it clear that he was the one one uploading (TheOP's) video to youtube. He simply stated that he helped her in some way and wasn't clear as to how. That is quite a long way from obvious.

In light of that, if Horza did upload the video, then it stands to reason that that 313 is being truthful about her lack of technical skill involving uploading videos. Either way, all we have is a video of blurry shaky light in the sky that could be any number of things, and until we get more footage, thats all we will have.

Thank you for pointing out Horza's involvement, though.

Unknown, think of it this way as well. now that you saw this how did it make you feel..i know you touched on it in your thread. but really, ufo's appear and blink away, but your body is with you till you die.. i know i sound morbid and im sorry,...but its good to really decide on how you feel, cause weather you think of it this way or not this a linear acceptance example...

1. you see a UFO
2. which means aliens are on your horizon
3. they now EXIST in your life
4. they truely abduct
5. writen account of alien abduction are gonna take on a whole new light for you..

I for one think you shouldnt give up on your experience, even if it was JUST A PLANE you never know when its gonna be genuine.. and you should know that ufo's have commonly followed terrestrial flight paths.

keep that camera ready.

I didn't see anything last night, I fell asleep at like 12 then woke up at like 4:30. So far I just have the same camera, I think I have someone that will let me barrow their tripod, I am waiting on that.

Thank you for you words of wisdom. I will keep the camera ready. I don't think I have used a damn camera in my life as much as I have in the past week. Haha. Sorta getting more used to it.

That's what makes ATS so great! You will, for the most part, get a very balanced response to your questions or statements.

ATS get ALOT of hoaxes and outlandish claims that have not evidence backing them up. This has made people very cautious.

Unless posters are being rude or aggressive, then read them all, take in what they have to say and you will learn more and more about the very interesting world of the UFological community.

It may be interesting for you to know that UFO enthusiasts are just as interested in finding out that something is explainable by earthly means as they are in finding out that something is a genuine UFO ... well, almost

If we find out that this is just a satellite, a police car or just plain old swamp gas ... no one is going to blame you for that. It happens all the time. We will have solved another case so we can move on and we will have help you find the answers you are looking for so you can move on. Everyone wins!

There are posts on this site where there is only minimal evidence supplied. These inevitably turn into this incredibly boring "Yes it is" "No it isn't" argument that just wastes peoples time. So, SO boring.

Remember that a lot of people want to believe you. For some of us, we want to be able to believe more than anything in the world. But most of these people will need to see as many facts as they can before they make up their mind.

If you are really serious about finding answers for what your experience was, then go back through these posts, look at what others have suggested you can do, use your common sense and good judgement, put them into action and you will find the facts yourself.

When you do, I, for one, hope that you share the answers with us. No matter what those answers may be.

Once again thanks to all! Even though I don't have enough proof for this object to be anything certain yet, I am greatful for everyones kelp. I am gonna try to get some more sleep so I can try to stay up late one of these nights. But until then yes this post is gonna be pretty boring so I will definately let you know if I gather any other videos. I do however have a sense of feel over this whole thing that has made me feel alot better, even though I still for sure don't know exactly what it may be, I'm realizing that's life and with it comes uncertainy. I have not given up on looking out the window at night but in the same breath I feel a relief over me for some reason. Thanks again to all and take care. This has become my most favorite website. I have seen the exact same thing.

I received a phone call from a friend sometime last year (I think there was snow on the ground) and he sounded excited. He told me to look out my front door at the sky and tell him what I saw. What I saw was exactly what is in this video.

My friend has a telescope, so I rushed over there with plans to get a better look at this rather bright light in the sky flashing red-blue-green.

When I arrived we realized that the telescope was missing it's lens' and we were unable to find them. Nevertheless we brought more people around to look at it until one person identified the light as Betelgeuse.

We located the star on a starmap and matched it to the information we had of where it was appearing. It was awesome to see, but is quite normal.

This star is well known to twinkle with these colours.

Here is a picture of it while it appears red.




I'm certain this is the same thing.

Okay...haha so here's the thing...I am seeing the light again except it starts at the tree line, near a neighbors house.... Does that star your talking about do that too? I got it on video, with my neighbors porch light on in the back ground. No tripod though. Then I got some more footage with a tripod. And it looks pretty wild. For some reason my camera broke when video taping, I mean it literally shut off, and now I turn it on and everthing works except the whole screen is black and won't change at all. So I borrowed a camera and did the same video-ing last night, and that camera shut off 2 x's when this light got really bright??? I was confused. I played the videos I got and there is a strange noise in it that I never heard with my ears.... These new videos arn't quite at colorful, but very interesting to me though.

I am sure I still don't have the greatest camera's that I have been using, but I am gonna try to get a hold of a telescope. The weird thing I noticed too is it was a really clear night yet, I can oly get this bright light. I'm sure that is due to my camera sucking... but still I have tried capturing planes and stars on here, and nothing ever shows up but as soon as I see this light it;s always on there, but is changes alot. I am assuming that means it must be very bright. Like I say my footage still isn't great, haha, and god knows my camera isn't the best either, but I did get a tripod, and am getting more curagious.

Please post the new video links with the reference points. that does alot to alleviate some of the questions as the original video could have easily been a wall in a dark room.. it was void of anything but the object .. no trees.. or anything else to reference at all. a video with reference points would be of much more help to those trying to help you.

It took a while due to the rotations but I recorded this 2 nights ago.

This is the one just showing the light to the left is the my neighbor through the tree line. On my video player the vidoes show up sooo much better. But oh well. This one, I did not use a tripod.

Like I said....I am not saying they are anything.....I just am starting to enjoy videoing them and would like to get some better footage hopefully. I am seeing it 2 hours earlier then before...but not every night. I have another video I am working on downloading.

The thing about stars that you have to remember is that they appear in different parts of the ky at different times of the night.

The star could start at the tree line at 7pm, and slowly move over the opposite horizon as the night gets later.

IE: The time you are seeing the light makes a dofference. BTW the star is only visible like that sometimes. When I look at it now, it does not look like it did that night.

yes, its weird at the end cause it looks like you moved the tripod or camera.

For some reason they were really clear on my computer video, but on You tube they kept cutting out for some reason when I looked at them.....Let me know what you guys think. Last night was the first time I have seen 2 together.
