If you are speaking from experience at the base then your level of clearance was not high enough. Any access to Area 51 (Score Event) requires a Presidential Clearance but even the janitor gets that. 12 years ago there were only about 1900 of them. Each project, building, hangar, road, area has its own level of clearance and starpunch on your badge. But you could have worked an entire career there and not known 99% of the projects that were going on. Thats how security works. Jerry M. found this out the hard way. Ever meet Sam?
