Ugh! Paranoia!

I'm gonna try and keep this as short as possible.
I understand that I'm on ATS/BTS, ATS of course the house of all the Conspiracy Theorists in the world (credit to the mother). That's fine, and dandy, but something just completely irritates the hell out of me.

Paranoid, fruitloops, who think every...single..person...is out to get them.

Masons are out to get them.
The Government is out to get them.
Reptilians are out to get them.
Aliens are out to get them.
The secrect government is out to get them.

We're dropping chemicals on our people.
We're purposefully destroying our economy.
We're killing people at home using triggered techniques.
We're being harvested to be eaten by aliens. Harvested to be eaten by reptilians.
Led around like sheep by the secret societies of the world.

Religion this, WMD that, my government hit me with a wiffle ball bat.

STOP IT!!!

If I had a dime for everytime I saw a hostile thread towards Masons, or Christians, or Athiests, or someone claiming chemtrails, someone claiming the apocolypse, someone predicting who the anti-christ is, you would never see me again. I'd be living off somewhere away from the world drinking margaritas.

There's no logic involved with any conspiracy it doesn't seem anymore, you post something about Nibiru, and all you have to show me is a fuzzy picture, and a scribble? You tell me of a flyover from aliens, and you can't tell me where? You talk the talk, but not one person seems to be able to walk the walk who posts this stuff.

How many anti-christs have there been now, Christians? Hmmmm?
How many times has the world supposed to have ended now? Hmmmm?
How many times was there supposed to be a world wide disaster?

I'm a christian.
I'm a mason.
I am not homosexual.
I'm sure that makes some of you roll your eyes and wonder about me too. I suppose the next big thing is "Oh my god, Shugo's a reptilian alien dude person from the secret underground society, charged with making us all homosexuals, and forcing us to worship satan."

Yeah, okay...whatever. If it helps you sleep at night, that's exactly what I've been charged with.

I'd have more to post about this right now, but it makes me too damn angry!
I'll continue this ramble here in a while, but in the meantime, clam up. Sit down, and think before you start reading this stuff. I'm sitting here in my chair, and I want to read some hardcore, solid evidence provided, truth about the government being responsible for letting Katrina hit the coast or something. I suppose my next rant will be about all of you 9/11 conspiracy nuts that just completely run around with aluminum foil on your heads, sitting in your houses with black and white tv's, and making popcorn in the microwave.

Well, there is always going to be hostile people. You can't avoid it.
I don't know that many paranoid people, but usually the most cautious are the conspiracy theorists, and guess where you are right now? A conspiracy website.

I do agree that people who are paranoid without reason are aggrivating, but some people actually have a legitamite reason to be scared. There is so much in this world that could go wrong, there is just no way of avoiding it.

It's actually kind of ironic how you referred to some of those paranoid as sheep, yet they would like to believe themselves as seperatists, trying to avoid that.

However, it seems as though you are paranoid as well. Reading through your post, you seem to be paranoid of the people who are paranoid and suspicious of you. You should just accept how people are. Regardless of what you say or do, they will do their own thing.

I really don't care what people say about me, if you think I have issues with people being paranoid or suspicious of me, you are deeply mistaken. I'm just posting the inevitable. A lot of people do not have legitimate reasons to be paranoid. I know where I am, I knew the day I registered, didn't you read my post?

There is a lot of paranoia on ATS, a lot. There wasn't remotely near this much freak-out-type gurgle when I regged up here, it's obviously driven some members away too. Members that were once good debunkers, or good debaters, scholars and informists alike.

The fact that a lot of my post seemed to be ignored above was quite unnerving too.
For the record, there's a difference between hostile and paranoid people. A LOT.

I have no problems with what people say or do, but does that mean I can't get mad about it? Frustrated about it? Look for problems, conflicts, point them out, and ask why? :shk:

Hostility is one sided, conflict is two sided....you choose to react or not. There's always the ignore button, and paranoia of some degree is natural for everyone, and ATS is "paranoia central" is it not?
Without it, there are no questions and with both extremes of "self security" here , we get em all! "fruitloops" included!

The question to myself is: could they be right, do I humour them, ignore them or lock them in the "nutter closet" and mess with their head?

What's the fun in being on a website with thousands of members and you end up ignoring almost all of them? You end up just talking to yourself and engaging in the same conversations over and over again.

For your information, there are only a handful of members in my ignore list, I ALWAYS try reason & logic first!

Just because you can't see those people out to get me doesn't mean they are not there.

Put on your tin foil hat and join the rest of us non paranoid folks.

and fully agree with you, and in case you are still wondering I believe the current number of times the "world" has supposed to have ended is around "65" (give or take a few I'm sure)

If there wasn't people out there to question or challenge those strange anomalies and events, then we'd all be pretty darn mindless wouldn't we? And then where would the conspiracy be.. or would there be ever any as I'm sure for the mostr part we would take for granted that what ever is claimed has to be the truth as it would never be challenged..

Oh BTW, did I forget to mention that this is a discussion board, hence the exercise of "discussing" when a thread move's one to do so..

i use ats as a place to keep up todate with certain events, and for a laugh.
