For some reason, I hear pastors preaching a message of hate
to the congregations, a message that says to live for yourself
and to give all your money to the pastors. A message that say's
we should kill all the Arabs and that the president is infallable
(I guess he's the pope now lol) and that you hate this country if
you don't agree with whatever he says and with the mass murder of
millions.

(This is not meant to be political, but politics does come into play a little)

The message many pastors are preaching these days is 180 degrees
opposite of what Yeshua (that's Jesus for those of you who don't
know) taught us.

Many of these pastors tell us that "We are the nation of Israel
and that we should kill the Arabs because that's what the Israelites
were told to do." "We should support the war cause it's what God
has commaned us to do." and then they give out a bunch of lies and
misinterpretations of scriptures that only applied specifically to
the nation of Israel. Alas, we are being lied to folks, there is a
greater agenda at work behind the scenes, but that is for another blog.

I've tried to explain the simple truth about what Yeshua has taught, to my peers:

Me: "Yeshua said that we should love others as we love ourselves,
that we should turn the other cheek, that we should return hate with love"

------------------------------

Matt 5:9

"9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children
of God."

------------------------------

Matt 5:21-24

"21Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not
kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without
a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to
his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall
say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

23Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest
that thy brother hath ought against thee;

24Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be
reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift."

------------------------------

Matt 5:38-42

"38Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth
for a tooth:

39But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall
smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

40And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let
him have thy cloak also.

41And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee
turn not thou away."

------------------------------

Romans 12:19-21

"19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto
wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the
Lord.

20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him
drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

------------------------------

1 Peter 3:8-11

"8Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another,
love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

9Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise
blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit
a blessing.

10For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his
tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

11Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it."

------------------------------

My Peers: "But God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Also Jesus
didn't do away with the Law, but fulfilled it which means we don't have
to make animal sacrifises for our sins, so the war is justifiable, it's
a nessisary evil of man."

------------------------------

Eh, no, not really, actually, not at all, this is completely wrong and
an excuse to hate others in all actuallity.

The verse in question:

Hebrews 13:8

"8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

------------------------------

This verse is not implying that Adonai Eloah's (Father God) rules such
as the Old Law are always going to be in place, or that God somehow
never does anything different. This verse is saying that Yeshua's
teachings never change, that what He teches does not bend or conform to
whatever we want it to be.

Here's the verse in context:

"8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

9Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a
good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats,
which have not profited them that have been occupied therein."

------------------------------

And concerning the Old Law, we are not under it, we have a New Law,
A New Covanent. The Old Law was for salvation until Yeshua came and
gave us salvation through Him, the Old Law is now transformed to a
better one, one that says to love those who hate you, bless those who
curse you.:

Hebrews 8:6

"6But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also
he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon
better promises."

------------------------------

Hebrews 10:1

"1For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very
image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered
year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect."

------------------------------

My Peers: "God told the children of Israel to wipe out intire civilizations,
God's way are not our ways and so if we are in war killing is just fine
with God, especially if it's them Arabs that the Israelites fought
agianst, we should just turn the whole place into a sheet of glass,
turn it into a lake and wipe them out once and for all."

------------------------------

Once agian, this is nothing more than an excuse to try and fulfill the
evil, sinful desires of a fleshly heart (I too am guilty of this).

Hmm... Where should I begin? I know, I'll start at the beginning.

(continued)
A long, long time ago, in a land far, far away, there were races that
were not human, these races were mostly giants and other monstrosities
(the giants are nothing like the natural giants of today).
These giants were canabalistic and there were Nephelim (the offspring
of women and angels) and fallen angels on the earth ruling over people.
The Nephelim did not have resurectable bodies seeing how they are not
made in the image of God, there spirits have been cursed to roam about
on the earth, they are what we know now as demons.

Abraham had two sons, Ishmael (begotten from his maid) and Isaac
(begotten from his wife). Ishmael was blessed by God and God blessed
him by making him a great nation, which we know now as the Arabs.
Isaac begot the nation of Israel, which fought agianst the nations of
the Nephelim (wiped all of them out actually), they did not fight
agianst the Arabs, this is a lie from the pulpit and the podium.
The nations in the middle east these days have no trace of Nephelim
blood in them (I believe). The bloodline if nation of Israel had to
stay pure until the time for Yeshua's arrival, the Israelites fought to
survive, we fight to make money and exact vengence on others, as well
as other agendas. Remember, our battle is not agianst flesh and blood.

The hatred I see in so many peoples hearts for the Arabs is disturbing
and sickening, I hate no Arab, I actually dated an Arab girl at one
time (she was a Christian and a wonderful person), they are a great and
wonderful people, don't hate them because they have a religion that
"might" be full of hate for you, I've already shown you verses that
deal with these things. I wonder what the world would have been like if
instead of blasting away at the Arabs, if instead we said "I forgive
you brother, God Bless you."? I believe God would work a miracle and
things would be a lot better.

As few know and many suspect, I don't believe everything the government
tells me, I believe this is a very backwards country, but it is the
country I am and I love it, I am a true patriot, not a sports fan,
I hold to no political party and my allegiace is not with this country
it is with Yeshua and His teachings (If I had to choose though, I'd pick
the Republican Party).

Drop me a line, let me know what you think, remember if you disagree
with the verses I posted, your not disagreeing with me, your disagreeing
with God.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'll try my best to answer them.

Jimmy, I agree with you wholeheartedly; your interpretations of the verses are exactly right... but I have to ask, where are you hearing this garbage from pastors? I have never heard any pastor say anything close to what you mentioned. The only thing I have heard was to pray for Bush, as he is a leader and needs the prayers.

Are there really people that twisted professing to follow Christ out there?

i dont believe that politics should even be discussed in church. i left a church coming up on a year ago because of this. just to note i am republican but i would have acted the same way if we would have had a dem in office.

the pastor sermon was based soly on how *snip* up our courent president is. after church (southern baptist) i confronted him. my only statement to him was the bible teaches us that right or wrong all government is ordained by god, so was your whole sermon Blasphemy? when he couldnt say anything i simply just walked away.

point being in mho church is not the place for politics.

btw since we are on religon this is post number 666 for me..

Nice post jimmy. You did a good job explaining things that I think a lot of people don't understand. I heard similar things from the pulpit during Vietnam. How we are supposed to support our leaders, the war is justified, etc . . . I had many misconceptions about the Bible until I stated reading it myself.

You mentioned Pastors and churches, and I am wondering at what locations you have heard such messages?

There is nothing wrong with getting up and walking out of a congregation in the middle of a sermon that is preaching hate.

I've done it. Imagine the surprised lookes I have gotten! I did it in the middle of a service in a very small town, and the Church was Southern Baptist.

I got a lot of questions about why I did it from the people who were there, and since it was not at Church, I was free to explain exactly why.

A few members have also left, never to return.

Also what Churches have Pastors that say to turn your money over to them directly? Interesting. The Church I was attending took collections, and out of the collections the Pastor was paid a salary! Any Pastor that demands money directly needs to be audited, and or turned over to authorities for fraud!

Well, it's not just churches and pastors, but it is the congregations even more so.
The things I wrote about what the pastors had said where the basic idea that a sermon would contain and not just a statement made.
John Hagee is one of the preachers whose hateful sermons I've heard being preached.
Pat Robertson has said so many hateful and blasphemous things and given so many false prophesies, it's pitiful.
I hear and see many tv evangelists telling people to give them money $$$, money, money, money, it's all about the money to them.
Basicly, I've never seen a tv evagelist that has ever said anything remotely true to the gospel.
DaleGribble, I am not aware of any scriptures that state that governments are established by God, could you please give reference to these scriptures, I'd greatly appreciate it. I know that there are scriptures that say that God gives people the ability to lead (much like a gifting or a trate), but that doesn't mean that they are leading the right kind of group, or that they are always right no matter what descision they are making for that group.

I have a serious hard time believing that you actually heard anything like those things from the pulpit.

Not buying it.

Id like to point out im a pacifist and totally against the various wars going on at the moment (and throughout history) but if Jesus's words were followed I doubt any of us would be here now. While its all well and good to preach "turn the other cheek" its not at all practical.

Someone does something bad to you, and you do what Jesus says, and turn the other cheek. In the real world what will happen? The person wronging you will KNOW they can get away with it, and do it again. You dont want people to walk all over you, and people WILL if they can. This world is a twisted place and Jesus's words only serve to fuel evil and let it spread. but im sure he knew that.

So at what point do you do something about it? Never according to Jesus. Wait on God. Who will do absolutely nothing in this lifetime, and the evil will prosper.

Sometimes the only way to deal with it is to fight fire with fire. Obviously not always, if someone hits you, hitting them back, or having a threat of retaliation, can stop them and make them think. If you dont defend yourself you could end up in hospital or maybe worse.

Ah, but you see, this is where the Holy Spirit comes in.
God also has worked miracles and opened peoples eyes to the spiritual as well and many people have come to Christ because of it.
Take the movie "End of The Spear" for example. The missionaries died, but a whole tribe found Yeshua through there sacrifice, and now that it has become a movie, many, many more poeple have too.

FlyerFan, I suppose you go to a church that is exactly what Yeshua wanted the church to be. I have never found a church like that sadly

All I am doing is repeating what I have heard, many people on here know I am a hardcore Christian, all I am doing is exposing some things I have seen and writing what I feel people should know, that is, the truth.

I didn't read your whole post so forgive me if you already mentioned this but another thing these death loving christians don't want you to know is that [according to the bible] the Arabs too are the seed of Abraham. Perhaps more so since Ishmael wasn't born of an shameful incestuous relationship and all that that entails. Now what is supposed to happen to those who curse the seed of Abraham?

There's a time to sit in church, and there's a time to leave the 501(c)(3) organizations, retreat to your catacombs in prayer, and wait out the return of Justice.

I no longer have any expectations that Good or Truth will come out of the Church. It's a subject of Mammon now (501 (c)(3)) silenced in the face of law-less-ness and money-grubbing.

Bye!

In the second half I go over that part.
I had a girlfriend that was arab, the only one actual going out on a real date kinda girlfriend. She was a great Christian and the sweetest girl I've ever met. I felt she wasn't the one though, we had some different ideas on where we wanted to go in life, I wanted to adopt kids if I even thought about the option of children and I wanted to be a missionary, she wanted to have lots and lots of children and didn't care that much about missionary work. Plus I felt too scared to share with her about a secret part of my life I've written about on here before. That's something really important to me.

Arab's Ishmael was blessed by God, God made them into a great nation, I love the Arab people and I am a Christian, I don't believe the way the americanized church believes though.

Both really, I've seen them mostly on TV (that's one of the ways they effect the masses) and I've heard things simalar in real life too.
The whole message behind some of the things they preach though is centered around them keeping up with supporting anything and everything our government does disregarding the Truth in the Bible concerning these things.

Has Jesus kingdom come yet? Is Jesus on earth ruling yet? I dont think so. This scripture ment that Jesus's kingdom doesnt have part and isnt the same as this world. That does'nt mean well we're on earth that we let our own government do evil. We are called to do good works and spread the word. And be soldiers of christ. What type of soldier are you if you let the kingdom your in creat evil. you wastless and doing nothing of the will of God. God bless
