To the list of topics, you should add threads like :

- X is the antichrist...
- Jesus told me and now I'm telling you...
- God wants...
- X/Y is/are demons/reptilians/clones...
- III world war is starting now...

Yeah, that's just a small sample of stuff that could be called BS.
But if what you really want is stop people bashing each other, calling names, putting people coming up with stories in a little corner no one can see is not really an answer.

The people answering to these threads have got to change their attitude, that is, if they really want to leave the door open for real accounts.
Or just put a sign stating "we shoot on sight" at the door.

So I don't think this forum should be named anything like "we laugh loud and clear in here" or "come entertain us" or other stupid / non welcoming name some have been putting forward.

But rather something simple like "I am telling you..."

Because that's what I think is what you want, a place for people to come tell their story, and just tell.
If they want to push their story forward and give evidence, then they would do it by contacting an admin and asking to be moved to the proper forum and be judged by the debunkers.

I vote for "Prison Planet."

That carries implications of power, influence and conspiracies.

The problem with choosing Whistleblower is that it doesn't cover the whole spectrum of who we are trying to target.. It would really only encompass "I work for the CIA" "I worked at area 51"... things that are human and terrestrial.

A whistleblower can be defined as a person who reveals any wrongdoings or malpractices that are taking place within an organization. These revelations could be made either to the general public or to those who are in a position of authority. A whistleblower can make a disclosure of corruption, mismanagement, illegal activities or any other wrongdoing

I think that name is great too but... I agree with some of the other posters in that the first thing that comes to mind is "greys" i.e the Grey aliens. Just my perception.

Ok i waded through all the posts and NOTHING jumped out at me. Alot of people are forgetting the absolute range of topics and claims that will begin pouring into this forum. Alot of suggestions are great, however, alot are not immediately recognisable to newcomers, nor are they inviting.

Remember, this new forum is also to be created so that FINALLY when ATS has a real 'smoking gun' wander into ATS, we have prepared the way for them. Sure, 99.9999999% of the threads may be hoaxers, but who cares? We are after that one person, and that is who we should focus on.

Anyway, to my suggestion.

I think this new forum needs to go beyond just having a forum "Title". This "title" in itself needs to tell us a story as we expect others to give to it. That will make it inviting.

I suggest something along the lines of:

"ATS, I have something important to share with you..."
"I am a V.I.P and this is my testimony."

Those are from a first person perspective, more inviting would be from ATS' perspective.

"Please share your important testimony with ATS, here."
"Are you a V.I.P? Please let us know how."
"Know something important? Please tell ATS about it."

These are not perfect as i am currently having a brain melt, however, i think you should understand the angle i think this new sub-forum needs. Yes it is different to the other sub-forums, but it has a different purpose to the other ones as well.

Well, i think that topics added to the list should probably include anything in which the original poster is speaking from his own experience - For example; this would include UFO sightings which don't have photo-evidence.

As the the name of the forum - anything i come up with, if similar to another poster's, can be considered a vote for that name.

Amatuer Discovery.

Word of Mouth.

To Be Confirmed.

Those are the three i think would suit the forum to a reasonable standard.

As for the level of vetting, i think that any topic that seems to have the potential to hold serious debate should be moved to the appropriate forum, naturally - any footage of alien aircraft or any documents that appear realistic would be included in this.

How about My 15 minutes of Fame or What Am I? I think you have a great idea. One of the things that turned me off when I was listening to C2C was the callers who claimed to be the reincarnation of " insert name here ". Also the callers with indigo children. Always hated that term. It made me think of the time my ballpoint leaked all over me. Seriously though a well moderated thread of this type would be great. Thanks.

It never fails.. Immediately after we start a new initiative (like this one) we get slammed with record breaking traffic, several interesting and possible new ventures appear and one two others "come back from the dead", all requiring our attention thus leaving us very little time to focus on the new idea.

No matter, we will get this up and running soon and the staff is reviewing all the great suggestions in this thread as I type.

At least it throws in a bit of humour which I'm sure the forum needs to represent.

I have to say I feel really is good to be back from the dead.
I'm always more alive when there is a gem or two to polish.
Limbo is just no fun.

I do love this new forum idea since it will create an environment for those who want to use their brains. Off hand I don't have any specific thoughts on a name or categories. Just tossing it out:

"Personal Revelations" would become a cross over for several of the other forums. It would need to be a bit more specific.

"Aliens" and "Whistleblowers" would be viable categories, but that might create a watch list for alphabet organizations as well.

As for vetting, I think each case would need to be evaluated individually.

A good name for the forum, one that would reflect the purpose if it could be:

"FROM BEHIND THE CURTAIN"

And to classify 3 different types, how about something simple like "Skeptical", "Believable" and "Far out"
