GodMode, i agree with you brother and i am a deep deep Christian. But what makes you think believing in Aliens is un-holy? I believe in God and Aliens but i am Christian. Just because the bible doesn't state any other race out there doesn't mean anything...the bible could have just been put there for us as a race to follow. Also you say once Jesus comes we lose our chances to repent..yet the bible its self states that its NEVER to late until you are actually chosen. Now i don't say your full of it but what i am saying is some of what your saying actually doesn't fully follow the bible. Other then that i agree with you brother.

Also i heard that the bible has further meaning to it such as Aliens are our "God" because if you rearrange the word God and some fraze "can't think of it at the moment" it means more then 1 god, and that to is in the bible and its in latin. So the alien idea doesn't actually sound false and whats even more amazing is that you say he will come rule AND he will after the temple is finally built again. The Temple will or could take until 2012 and this has been said when Aliens come and take control of us from our Government and to help make the world a better place (not in a bad way)...which in the bible since could mean rule. As for the years i don't know because the bible has also been known to have been changed a bit from the original book plus the only thing that throws that idea off is the entire "rule for 1,000 years" statement. This is just another belief which i don't absolutely throw out of mind my self because it actually does sound quite real and only people who have studied the alien issue will understand what i am talking about. In fact there is a thread or more on the subject but im to lazy to get it together but as of right now i believe in God. Rather he or they are Aliens i don't know but i do know there is a God.

OK, wasnt sure exactly 'where' to post this..this thread has more importance than any other thus far posted as it talks about Prophecy fullfillment, please read:

Anyone familiar with Judaic/Christian Prophecy? don't all raise your hands at once, understandably so, its rarely investigated beyond the late night History Channel topics.

Yes, I'm somewhat familiar with the prophecies you've mentioned. I've also spent years watching psychotic men throughout the world go out of their way to "force" the prophecies into fulfillment, with mixed success.

Great job rebuilding the kingdom of Israel for example, but somehow I doubt that the "promised land" Moses lead his people to was a barren, worthless strip of desert barely larger than Rhode Island. Some "kingdom."

I like how they've worked pretty hard to set the stage for this chip. Too bad the mark of the beast is very clearly described as the number 666, which appears on one's hand, and not some little chunk of metal shoved under the skin.

Anyways, skipping over the history lesson we get to...

Ok heres where it becomes better than any movie EVER written. Prophecy has stated quite clearly that for Christ to return this Temple MUST be built, its being built. That the Anti-Christ WILL defile (remove all blood sacrfice by law) the Temple and set himself up as God to be worshiped FROM this very temple. This is ALL going to happen VERY quickly, once the Temple is built it is believed by historians (now so far every prophecy HAS come to pass to the exact letter and date, all of them people)....

Wait... here's where I have to cut you off. Every prophecy, on some exact date? Well let's see some examples. Let's see some of your biblical prophecies, along with the dates they were supposed to happen, and let's see the dates they actually supposedly came true.

Anyways, carrying on...

that the Tribulation period will begin. Once this peace treaty of 7 years is established thats it folks...either you BEGIN to believe and be saved or are a believer, in this case dont worry. Upon the 3.5 year mark of this treaty of 7 years, the Anti-Christ will break the treaty, defile the temple and being his reign of horror unlike the world has NEVER seen....be prepared for the earth will shake and groan under the evil that does its work amongst men.

Peace treaty between Israel and who? I'm assuming the Muslims that hate them with a passion and work relentlessly to bring death and destruction to their borders? Are you freaking kidding? Maybe someday it'll happen, but not in our lifetimes.

Also, a side-note, it IS possible that the sitings (becoming more and more prevalent) have something to do with prophecy and NOT aliens. The Bible said quite clearly that "in the end of days look to the skies for signs of the end".please research for yourselves this wonderful book we call the Bible..its not too late but when he returns he will come.."Like a thief in the night".

UFO sightings have been recorded since the dawn of... well, recording things. Cave drawings, medieval paintings, hieroglyphics: they all show us unidentified things in the sky. Unless the whole history of mankind is considered part of the "end times," at least this small part of your argument is completely flawed.

I don't doubt for a second that the temple is being rebuilt. In fact, I believe whole heartedly that it is. The only thing is, I can understand the difference between a prophecy actually coming true and a bunch of religious nuts on a rampage trying to imitate the events in their prophecized "end of days" to try and bring about some golden age that isn't coming.

"They say that a hero will save us, I'm not gonna stand here and wait" - wise lyrics from a song in a Spiderman movie, of all places. We as the human race need to stop pushing for war, endtimes, and the fulfillment of opium induced prophecies and start doing something to stop the global elite from annihilating us all like cows in a slaughterhouse. There will be no saviors coming down from the sky to protect us from these people. That's exactly what they want you to expect to happen, so that when it doesn't you'll be completely off guard and they can finish you off.

NOT aliens

I suppose you mean, "not extraterrestrial aliens", because demons and or angles are aliens!
I just posted this youtube link on another thread. It is about this subject of, Christian perspective of aliens. Just go to youtube and put this in the search. "Nephilim Rising part 1". It has six parts all together.

An interesting statement was made by Jesus in a verse that apparently is just simply overlooked in the reading of it: "And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." - Matthew 24:31
The keyword here is heavens (which, as I understand it, did not denote the ultimate place of God's throne, but either the sky, or the void of space), as in what are His elect doing in the heavens, particularly talking to an audience 2000 years ago when this was said, when there was no man-made aircraft of any kind?

Of course today there are people in various parts of these heavens. It would also seem in some instances that UFO/occupants/interdimensional beings may be the very devil/demons spoken of in the bible and other religious texts throughout history. Jesus himself said He saw satan fall to earth like lightning, which could have been a spiritual-mystical event, or a more physical, tech-based situation...not enough information is available for me to answer that at this time. Whichever the case, I think UFO's are a critical part of the end-times events, although I don't believe (at least not today) that the Christ is limited to technology in order to move around.

Folks

One excellent author on the Mayan callendar is Calleman.

Which versions of the Bible are you taking your translations from. Christianity does very much match Mayan prophecy if you go back to the oldest forms of the Bible. The critical phrase is end of an era, not time.

So for me the world is not ending, we are going through a shift in consciousness.

How will things pan out? Couldnt tell you. But yeah, be careful with the difficulties of deciding which Biblical translation you use.

A few others have already asked this, but where's the proof that it's actually being rebuilt now? It's not in the news and I couldn't find anything on google.

Agreed. Can we get any confirmation on this before I start citing it as a fact. Even a set of eyes on the ground. Are we broadcast in Israel?

Three pages so far and still no proof of the temple being built. I suppose I have to add another few words here so once again, please show us some proof.

Yes, this is the 10th time we have asked. SHOW PROOF THAT THE TEMPLE IS BEING BUILT!

And the link showing some copper cups and silver shovel is not proof of any temple being constructed, sorry.

I want to follow what you guys are talking about, but we need to see some evidence that this temple is being rebuilt before we move on with this discussion. Most of you keep patting each other on the back saying "yes, the 3rd temple is indeed being rebuilt." How do you know this?

LET US IN ON THE SECRET, PLEASE>

Whoever can provide this will be my personal hero of this thread.

Okay I really think if it was in fact being rebuilt it would be in the news as one of the top headlines. I think this thread is just another stupid hoax.

Well I'm going one step further....If proof is not giving, I'm holding to the theory that there is more to this site then meets the eye.

Can we not move it to skunkworks?

The planned rebuilding of a religious temple, by a religious group, to help bring about the end of the world sounds like it's perfectly qualified to be considered a conspiracy in religion.

They have posted a couple of links, and they're certainly weak evidence at best, but there's no more or less support for this theory than at least half of the other nonsense on ATS.

Well an 'alien' or 'ufo' or 'ghost', or whatever is one thing, but if you can't prove that something is being built 'on earth'...Strike three, your out!

There is NO evidence that ground breaking for the temple has taken place as of yet! The preparations are ready, but the actual building has not started. Israel has their hands full at the moment with Olmert.
