Mr Bolton said that striking Iran would represent a major step towards victory in Iraq. While he acknowledged that the risk of a hostile Iranian response harming American’s overseas interests existed, he said the damage inflicted by Tehran would be “far higher” if Washington took no action.

This seems to be escallating but who knows by now. What will be the US's responce if Iran does not stop their proxies in Iraq? We all allready know Sadr's group is really the Iranian Revolutionary Gaurds. Geez, they must be spread thin like the US with funding and arming the Taliban, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Sadr. Maybe they have help from Russia or China?
