I am passing this on - I wanted to put it on the record, in case the sources were correct.
A huge earthquake (over 9.5 Richter scale) is predicted for around mid-June this year (2008) - centred off the coast of China. It is predicted that a tsunami of 50m (I think) will race inland causing unimaginable damage. It will result in the Olympic Games being cancelled. The margin of error for the time is +/- 2 weeks, meaning it could be anytime in June.

This is not a personal prediction. It comes from an unassuming person who gets visions of future events

Well, IMO an earthquake (especially of that magnitude) should have effects on the USA. Wouldn't waves reach the shores of Cali? Or at least Hawaii? Maybe not, i don't know.
Flyersfan: One thing being predicted for USA is a big earthquake for California. With the rise in "random" earthquakes in Reno and the rise of incredibly unecessary condos here in Vegas, a Southern California disaster seem rather likely.
I am interested in what manner this guy recieves his visions/revelations. Any info OP?
Strong China quake felt as far as Thailand
BEIJING (Reuters) - An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 struck China's Sichuan province on Monday, less than 100 km (60 miles) from the provincial capital of Chengdu.
The quake was felt across much of China and as far southwest as Bangkok, Thailand's capital, some 3,300 km (2050 miles) away, where office buildings swayed for several minutes.

Heh... I do love coincidences, but pretty sweet call with this quake.
Makes you wonder if this was just the water going and the plates are gonna give birth to a bigger one in a month. That would devastate the region completely wouldn't it?
Edit: Heh :| I posted in the wrong thread...
