Woke up in the middle of the night (as often happens recently) from a dream where I was staring up from a valley toward a large snow-capped mountain.

The scene was a kind of purple hue... everything a mix of magenta, blue, or violet.

At the top of the mountain was the tiny figure of some kind of ancient temple. Looked like a modified Roman or Greek style, but different.

Floating in the foreground of this vision were several classic looking "flying saucers" ... just floating there. No clue as to any reason why... they were just there.

In the blur that ensued in the moments waking up from this dream, I realized that some of the visual nature of it was inspired by the memory of the artwork of a record album cover.

We've all seen the covers of many musical artists albums with ufos on them. Of course, one of the most recognized examples would be the band ELO, or Electric Light Orchestra. There is an album by the band Boston that has a big ufo on it as well...

So I was wondering if there is an ATS reader out there that can identify the album cover I described above, with the purple glow to it, the mountains, and the 3 or so flying saucers hovering nearby. At first I thought it might have been the Moody Blues, but looked it up and it wasn't them. I can't get the memory out of my head, but for the life of me I can't recall who the artist was since I was a little one at the time.

I believe this album came out in the late 70's, plus or minus a few years.

It's just one of those things driving me nuts. Anyone know who it is?
