It's been a while since we had anything of significance submitted to our "ATS Premium" service. As a reminder, here's one of the threads promoting it:
Writing for ATS Premium, And Getting Paid For It.

And here are some of the great ATS Premium articles that have made the cut:
ATS Premium: Barksdale Missile Number Six: The Stolen Nuclear Weapon
ATS Premium: The Real 9/11 Conspiracy, The Invention of Islamic Terrorism
ATS Premium: The Katrina Incident: Media Manipulation Masks Government Malfeasance.
ATS Premium: How Could They Know That? The Dogon Mystery.

What Is ATS Premium?

We have a dedicated SUBMISSION FORM that accepts top-tier articles for review and consideration by our senior staff. We're looking for original cutting-edge articles on contemporary issues, that touch on the conspiracy theory and other "alternative" topics discussed on ATS.

If a submission is accepted:

1) We pay you at least $75.00, or more depending on the complexity and research that has gone into your submission.

2) We publish the article to our e-mail newsletter list of over 62,000 recipients.

3) We post the article in a prominent position on the ATS forum, and open it up to member comments.

Nearly all of our ATS Premium articles have received tremendous attention outside of ATS, including interview requests of the author from mainstream media sources. This is a tremendous opportunity for you to put together your best work on a burning issue, get noticed, and even get paid.

Now Get Paid For Referring an Author!

Yes. If you're an ATS member and you refer an author who writes an article that's accepted, we'll pay you a $50.00 "finder's fee" for helping to bring the author and their content to ATS.

All you need to do is send me a heads-up U2U with the name of the author you referred to us. We'll keep on the lookout for their submission, and if it's accepted, we pay you $50. (Your U2U must be received before the author submits their article.)

Excellent news SO. I was wondering what ever happened to the Premium Content offer. It had been a while since I heard of it, so I figured there was to little interest and it got shut down.

I have currently been working on a thread I was going to publish, however I may consider submitting it to the Premium forum and see if I can get paid for it.

However, it is not "breaking news" but rather more along the lines of "research". Is the premium offer only for breaking news and stories?

One other question: Since it is Premium content you want submitted, and you are paying for the submission. I was wondering if you would like a "real" name with the article or our "handle" name?

I recently submitted an article Skeptic. Any word on the status of the submission.

Thanks for the update.

Interesting forum to post and file research but a little daunting to someone like myself. I personally have the feeling that if I were to write something there would always be someone else out there who knows or claims to know more then I.

On a side note there a number of posts/threads that I've seen and been a part of in the Aviation forum that could be published as research or that I would be willing to re-write as a submission.

Can you explain what this means? How would I be able to advise you of someones work 'before' it is released to the forums?

Have I just misunderstood somehow?

Thanks!

I certainly could use the money, and am quite active here on ATS with too much time on my hands on an average day.

How do we get paid? Do I have to send you my name and an address the check can be mailed to?

Are you looking for very long and in-depth articles, or something more along the lines of a summary on some of the topics we cover here on ATS? Or are you really looking for the unique, latest news sort of material?

I suppose I will give it a go and shoot out a few submissions in the next week or two to feel out the terrain.

How will you deal with taxes in this muli national community? Is this only open for Americans?

I would expect that the resonsibility falls upon the payee to declare their income at the end of the year. ATS is not an employer. By submitting work, I expect you would be doing so as a sort of independent free-lance journalist.

Hi SO, I recently submitted an article, but see no evidence that it went through. When I go to check on it, I get an error page. Is there any way to find out?

Try looking down at "Recent Threads I tagged". You might see your submission there. As I understand it, if you will only get a response if your submission is taken.

I still don't understand. What kind of response would I see?
I wanted to make corrections, but when I try to go to the page, it takes me to an error page. Is there a way to re-submit?

I dont know. The "error page" shows up because its submitted to a private submissions-forum. But if you want to re-submit, just submit again.

I would like to ask if it's possible to be paid in bottles of Wild Turkey instead of American Dollars? Wild Turkey is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain on this island, and I despise ordering it at extortionate prices.

Say, how many bottles of Wild Turkey could a man receive for $75 in the states?

Can we get $50 and 25,000 more ATS points? I really need some points! Trying to spice up my profile!

I have to ask "why are you here"?

If you are a serious poster, points don't make prizes......if it's THAT important to you, give us Answers , Information, Research and opinions etc...all of which will soon earn you the points you want anyway.

Be patient and remember that this is not just a place to put pretty pictures, it's a lot more!

Write and you will receive.
good luck.

I hope to contribute something to ATS Premium in the future, but it won't be a simple thread or anything small, these things take time. Meanwhile, I'll keep "tugging" at the curtain.

Are there any guidelines on the length of submissions? I'm just wondering what would be most appropriate.

Is there a time limit on how long we will have to wait before the submission is accepted or denied?
Also will the person who made the submission be informed via u2u that the submission was accepted or denied?
