You know, this same exact story has been appearing on on ATS for the last 3 or 4 years. Check the search function. Tibetan Monks 2012....

I hate to be a smartass, but really, how many times are we going to see the same thing?

That is not entirely true. Yes the Y2K bug was big for the year 2000 but most of that hype only started happening a few years before the year 2000.

There were many other prophecies that had nothing to do with technology.

In the year 2000:
The anti-christ was supposed to come to power.
That hidden planet (I forget its name) was going to appear.
Jesus was going to return.
Armageddon was going to begin.
Some sort of horrific natural disaster was going to reshape the planet.
A nuclear bomb was supposed to go off in a major US city causing the USA to collapse. Some kind of supernatural event comparable to the birth of Jesus was going to happen.
Extra-terrestrials were going to arrive and save us from ourselves.

Any of this sounding familiar?

I hate to be the party pooper but there are many website that have documented the failed prophecies of the year 2000 and there will be many websites that will document the failed prophecies of the year 2012. But I guarantee that will not stop the next group of believers from picking a new date and starting the process over again.

You mix the keywords Tibet, Monks, 2012 and Aliens in a cocktail, pats boom, wow, and you have a much more credible theory/source nowadays.

Being a human, i am not that easy about the title. Saving the Earth from humans sounds a lot like wiping us all out. Maybe a new conspiracy will be born - aliens will terraform Earth in 2012....

Anybody knows what is Buddhism view concerning aliens? Mainstream Buddhism, i mean.

Buddhism is actually embracing the idea that the universe is filled with eternal souls (aka living beings) within certain hierarchical orders, either the living beings you see around you, those living in different Dimensions AND on those living on different planets. In this multi-verse the universal karma law is in place and where each individual is seeking for nirvana, the state of cosmic unity. Guess what, human beings are not among the highest level.

So Buddhism would not be in conflict with any UFO/Aliens theories. However, an apocalypse? This is quite far fetched, unless the combined karma of all the ten/hundreds of billions of souls on Earth is so extremely negative beyond any repair, then very maybe. Even then, it would be only one planet in this universe. And still doubtful, because after all, the gods (of Earth) who are running the different layers of hells and heavens (dimensions) would think twice to receive so many extra souls in one shot, I don't think their employee contract covered that over-time at all.

Someone told me once that the ET's have already proven to the US and other nuclear powers that they are in control when it comes to our nuclear weapons by shutting them all down at once.

I too find it puzzling that such horrible things go on between humans, genocide, mass murder, not to mention the bombs dropped in Japan, and yet ET's would stop nuclear war? I don't get it. I don't understand the motivation. I don't see nuclear war destroying the planet, just humans and animals. It's confusing to me.

But Buddhist meditation is a wonder. And those who practice it are capable of more than outsiders would believe without seeing it or experiencing it for themselves. So, if the monks really said that then it must be something.

I loved the links to the other message board about the UFO's spotted between India and China, and the other weirdness going on there. Fascinating!

Sounds like a false flag ops to me.

The ET will reveal themselves to save us? Not likely. For as long as the history of humanity, none of that has ever happened before.

It's just a group of human beings behind the curtain like wizard of oz.

Remote viewing!!
This stuff is for real! I hate to repeat myself, as i have told of this in other threads, but i've read of this EXACT topic in a book by Courtney Brown called "Cosmic Voyage". He does all of his research in this book through remote viewing and for me it was completely mind-blowing.

This method is far more reliable (apparently) than any form of channeling as it follows a set procedure and finds accurate results.

It describes this New Age and our "coming into a higher awareness and conciousness" and the "reason" this hasn't occured before on a grand scale here on Earth is because it just wasn't the right time.
He also goes into the history of Martian and Gray cultures as they are the two species which have immediate intentions with our world for the moment.

If u can find this book - READ IT. If u have an open enough mind, it will completely change your perception of everything u "think" u know.

I hope this video comes through, There is just a little more information than what we have discussed here so far.

As a Buddhist, I can tell you that "salvation" is taught in Buddhist terms of self responsibility. That is, one doesn't wait around for another being or beings to free us from suffering. It is up to US to end suffering in this world. Buddhists believe that each of us has it in us to end suffering.
Many Buddhist traditions talk of beings not only of our world, but of countless worlds, so the idea of extra-terrestrials existing is not an issue.
What I find hard to believe is that a Buddhist monk would waste his time telling people that other beings will be saving us. His "job" as a monk and teacher would be to help others help themselves.

Their are many different types of Buddhism, I did not personally 'get' that it states they will be saving anything but Earth herself.

I just wonder if China knows (of course they do) about the longtime visitations to the Llamas, and so in their quest to dominate the world, they have made the Tibetan Monks and Llamas their first objective. Perhaps they think if this happens they themselves will come in contact with the Extrasentientbeings. As for a few people being chosen to go when the time comes, would probably be less than you would imagine.

The cycle of birth and death, is just energy on some levels.
Earth is preparing for the next jump in her evolution, remember the 100th monkey syndrome, where when one young female monkey went to the water to wash her sweet potato, over a thousand miles away on another island it also happened.

The recent thread about the Orangatang using sharp sticks to catch its meal in the water? So many ques are being given to us, so many ways God is showing us that if we choose to let go our ego's, to live in this moment (eternity) instead of the past and the future, we will also be rising in our awareness our cosmic consciousness.

This planet earth is one of the most beautiful planets in our solar system, our Galaxy, Universe. She has become awakened, she is rising in her consciousness. From this manmade chaos will come clarity. This has been hell, it will be heaven.

Nice work, antar

This echoes everything i've read on this topic where people have used remote viewing as a means to obtain this information...

I think nuclear warfare will play a major part in the war to come and that ONE of the reasons these otherworldly beings will intervene is because these nuclear blasts affect the fabric of time and space and so ultimately affects the rest of the universe...

I don't want to be disrespectful (of you or your opinions) or get too far off topic, but I want to inform you a little bit because I've read that book and I hate that remote viewing is tainted with the stink of Courtney Brown.

Courtney Brown learned "remote viewing" from Ed Dames, who was the least successful remote viewer in the military intelligence program known as Stargate. I've read almost every book available about the program and almost everyone mentions him, sometimes by name, sometimes by anecdote, about how he would constantly see threats to life itself where there was none. That's why they call him Dr Doom, and he now sells DVDs of himself warning everyone that the world is about to end.

What Ed Dames taught Courtney Brown is a lot closer to channeling than remote viewing. People throw that phrase around like it hardly has a meaning, but remote viewing, originally coordinate remote viewing, is a martial art and an exact method. Dames and Brown do it wrong. Pick up the remote viewing manual by Joe McMoneagle if you want to know what it is, or just about any book by anyone else who was in the program. I believe you will like them a lot better.

Hmmm...But is there a thread that corroborates the event with four independent and diverse sources? Tibetan Monks - Mayan Calendar - Hindu Calendar - Hindu prophesy.

Without corroboration, it's zilch. But similar info from independent sources lends credence to an event that may take place.

Whether or not it does in this case, we just have to wait and see!

Cheers!

I cannot get out of my head the hopi prophesy of 'the net shall be cast'. The aliens are as much to blame as anyone for neatly dropping or crashing alien tech for reverse engineering. Perhaps they thought it could be used for good. LOL. Guess they don't know us very well.

There is another story that corroborates with diverse sources that you choose to dismiss without even reading. Why should this be different, because it's your own post?

You proved to have a big problem with the notion of us being, servants, slaves to certain aliens, because:

"I ain’t no slave, property or servant to any damn alien here. PERIOD! I am free and have been so for more than half a century. Are YOU a slave to a bunch of ETs? I think not. Such statements really get my goat! And make an otherwise perfectly credible story go to pot! So do I really need to read beyond that first page?"

If we would need aliens, to save us, to insure our survival, as your story claims, wouldn't that make you dependant on them? No control of your own destiny, sounds like some sort of slave to me.

Very strange how one story is utter bs to you, and how another one, with similar implications, is suddenly credible to you, and worthy of a thread, a few days later.

Hey Mike I believe that this topic has been discusses before. Read about it in ATS long time back, but please forgive me if I am wrong...

Oh goody, More Third-Hand information on tibetan beliefs.

The day i believe that Tibetan monks see aliens saving humans from earth/earth from humans in 2012 will be the day i see the Dalai Lama appear on CNN claiming that Aliens are real.

And seeing as he's currently tied up in national affairs with China, i don't think that'll be happening anytime soon.
